  Relaxing visit in the time of COVID-19

  We had a two bedroom family suite on the fourth floor, room 435. It was very spacious with two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed and two balcony doors. Three TVs; one in each room. Free internet since we booked through the Hilton Honors app. Everything was extremely clean (and Im very picky about cleanliness.) The level of cleanliness was faultless. The decor was updated; especially the bathrooms were very nice. Used the app for mobile check in and they sent the key right to my phone. This even worked for the parking garage so I did an entirely contactless check in and check out process. They had plenty of luggage carts in the parking garage which was nice. They are obviously taking the COVID-19 precautions very seriously which made me happy. Room was very quiet and it had a large eat-in kitchen. Ice maker right down the hallway. We ordered Uber Eats from a local restaurant and the delivery driver had no problem delivering the food right to our door. All in all: very easy, relaxing, and convenient. The view of the water from the room was very nice. There is a Publix grocery store (which sells beer and wine) and some other stuff within easy walking distance although this isnt the most walkable area of town so I honestly would recommend driving there rather than walking, but it was handy to have it so close by. In sum, if youre traveling with a family or a group, the two bedroom suite here is really a great option.

  Room with NO view

  Supposedly, I received a room upgrade. Yes, the room was larger than a standard room, however, the tiny window in the room, was sandwiched between the building. So, when you looked out the window all you could see was in a straight line, there was NO side view, like the check in person said. Then, when I got my ebill, there was a charge for a $73 dinner, I never had. I had to call and complain several times and then they, said they checked and noticed there was an error, and removed the false charge. No, we are sorry. No, we did not mean for it to happen. Not even a offer of extra point for the hassel.

  Clean, modern hotel

  We got an amazing rate for a 2 queen water view room. The rooms were clean with minor wear and tear but overall good. The beds were too firm for our liking but to each their own! Would have like to see USB outlets.

  Great Mini Vacation

  Stayed at this wonderful hotel in two rooms for five nights. What a great experience. The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and always looking to make your stay better. A special thanks to Beverly at the front desk for helping us select the perfect rooms. She was able to check us into rooms right next to each other. The rooms were very clean and house keeping was right there when we requested it. The breakfast each morning was cooked to order and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and have made reservations for our next visit.

  Weekend Getaway

  Hotel was extremely clean, great location, friendly staff. Food on the expensive side one bottle water was $3.00 breakfast was $31 for cheese eggs, bacon, omelette n fruit cup. Bar drinks were delicious but closed early. We will stay here again next time we visit Charleston
