  No issues

  Nothing fancy here. Good location near airport and downtown. Room was good size and bed was not bad. No breakfast due to Covid but that seems to be the new norm. Outside smoking area with nice fire pit. Check in was a breeze and of course free parking.

  Comfortable beds

  Great close spot next to the airport. Friendly staff and nice comfortable clean updated rooms. Mini fridge in room is a nice touch. A ton of cable channels. Got to see my game on FS1 which was nice bonus! Only stayed one night, but slept like a baby in the comfortable bed with great comfy pillows. Ill definitely be back!

  Flier Beware - Do Not Count On Shuttle Service

  This is an airport hotel with free overnight parking. The only problem is the lack of dependable airport transfer service, especially when the GM is working the front desk on a Saturday. Please clearly post the hours of shuttle service - online, at reception, etc - so guests can know what to expect upon return to Austin. To be fair, every other staff member at this property except the GM (Arthur) have demonstrated professionalism and appreciation for brand loyalty. The Tru Hotel (also a Hilton product) is located about 50 yards from the HGI. They always ensure a shuttle is available for guests. The Austin Airport Hilton's Park and Fly stay is also a viable option for dependable airport transfer.

  Great hotel with amazing staff

  After landing in Austin in the middle of the worst storm the city had seen in decades, and getting my prior hotel reservation canceled last minute with no advance warning, I was lucky enough to score a room at the Hilton Garden Inn by the Austin Airport. Despite them being overwhelmed with an unexpected number of guests, having no potable water, and not enough food to go around, the hotel staff managed the situation remarkably well! Everyone on the staff was super courteous and welcoming. They put me in a really nice room right away. Everything was super modern and clean. Being new to the city, and stuck with nowhere to go, these guys really saved the day. I can't thank them enough!!

  Good Stay Before Flight

  Hotel was convenient to the airport. They do have a shuttle running limited hours due to Covid. But fit my schedule, which was good, so be sure to call before to make sure it fits yours. Room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower did not have very good water pressure though. The only issue I found was the heater in the room wasn't working. It was right before the Texas winter storm so I was okay and the room was comfortable but hopefully they fixed it after I told them at check out. The staff was all friendly including the really nice guy who drove the morning shuttle. The restaurant appeared to be open on a limited basis. Overall, a good hotel choice near the airport with a shuttle still operating during Covid.
