New upgraded rooms with huge flat screen TVs!Came back to this hotel on business and was pleasantly surprised to see the rooms were all completely renovated including a TV that's bigger than the one in my house! The staff were very accommodating and courteous throughout my 3 night stay.

Getting better/ AC noise just awfulThis is a great spot for an HGI so we have tried it now 3 times. Great staff, clean rooms, even a quiet remodel going on. Got to try one of the newly refurbished rooms. Terrific redecorating, new furnishings and new cabinets and fixtures - worth the wait - Except for the HUGE disappointment. NO change in the AC fan motor racket found in the old units. Seems Ridiculous. The new rooms concept is great with cleaner lines, modern touches, nice finishes and bright bathrooms. BUT - If you are averse to super loud fans in your room, or a a light sleeper or both, then Beware. Some HGI's we have stayed in in TX, PA, MD, & VA have either multi-speed fan controls or lower decibel motors or both - this hotel so far does not. So whether set on the Heat or AC setting - at this HGI the fan runs on high fan speed and is very loud, period. The air unit is right there in the bedroom - and there is a vent withing 10 feet of that unit just blasting away. It is so loud you have to turn the TV up TWICE as loud when AC fan comes on versus when it is Not on. Would you sleep in a room in the middle of the workers remodeling or in a busy parking lot - the fan is that noisy. Totally unnecessary and ignores the Guests realistic needs. So we hope this gets changed for this hotel - Business will double if the fan noise goes down even 50%. We just stayed at a Hilton Canopy in TX that was extremely quiet even when the AC came on. Will try this HGI again and hope for the completion of the room update = a reasonable fan motor sound.

First Hotel Stay Since COVID-19 Began To Relax & RechargeI stayed at this property January 9th-14th in room 416 a 1 king bed room for a little rest and relaxation. With COVID-19 going on I was a little uneasy about being in a room others have stayed in. However immediately upon arrival when I came to my room and during the booking process on their mobile app it was apparent they take the safety and comfort of their guests seriously! The room was sterile and tidy and had a welcoming feel to it. All the staff I've met on site including Jason the Assistant General Manager, Regina the soon departing current General Manager, Executive Chef Michael, Michelle the Director of Sales and Marketing, Myra in housekeeping, Cole Walters the soon to be General Manager, Sarah a front desk clerk and the rest of the staff I cant recall their names were all really polite and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and right at home so i could relax and recharge doing something I love and that's staying in hotels even if it's in town. Before I forget! All COVID-19 safe practices were followed strictly and nobody was allowed inside or out of their room without a mask on and the staff were frequently disinfecting the property and this makes me feel beyond safe and comfortable. As a person with autism and a fascination with the Hospitality industry this property really lives up to the high standards Hilton requires of all their properties. The grab and go breakfast every morning by Executive Chef Michael was delicious and made with love. He always took the time between orders when I came for mine to ask how I was doing and to see if there was anything he could do to make sure my stay was just the way I wanted it. The front desk staff did the same thing! I was always asked how I was doing and how they could go above and beyond to show me as a guest my business was valued. Being my first time at this property in town I am impressed and coming back again for a long extended stay real soon! I'm sad to leave and not be able to come downstairs every morning and see such happy faces even under a mask and other PPE to greet me but I'm for sure coming back! You've made a great first impression in my book. If corporate is reading this I recommend all the staff here are recognized for their hard work and dedication to serving their guests. They all deserve a big raise for all they do! Thanks for letting me be your guest I will be coming back again soon!!! Warm Regards, Matthew Christopher Gutierrez a.k.a "Matthew From Albuquerque"
