    Mala Atención de Saloneros

    El hotel muy bueno en las instalaciones y comodidad. Pero la atención de saloneros no es la adecuada. Definitivamente están mas pendiente de la propina, que de la atención que pueden brindar, se nota demasiado ese comportamiento.

    Lax about mask policy

    We just got back from a three night stay and were really disappointed by how lax the staff was about the mask policy. People were wearing masks for the most part in the lobby, but almost nobody wore a mask in the hallways or elevators. There were a few times where we got trapped in our room because a large choir group in town were congregating outside our door (waiting for the elevator) and not one in a mask. When I asked the front desk what to do, there response was essentially "it is what it is" and that "we try to enforce when we see it in the lobby." I'm not trying to sound overbearing, but we were in town for a medical procedure for my daughter so it was of the utmost importance that we not be exposed prior to her surgery. We chose this hotel because of their mask policy. Huge disappointment. Other things to note, which will probably be only relevant if traveling with small children. We stayed in a King suite, the room was huge and there was a kitchen area with a sink and mini fridge, but no microwave (but there is one in the lobby). No dining area in the room, and the bedroom doesn't have a door so it's all one giant space. The pool is great, although it opens about an hour late each day. No towel hooks in bathroom, and the overall cleanliness of hotel could be better. The incredible woman running the breakfast situation deserves a raise, she provided excellent service.

    Disappointed customers

    This visit to a Hilton Hotel was a true disappointment. We had a visit at Duke Cancer Center and were exposed to mold and mildew in the first 2 rooms we were given. Upon moving to room #3 we were asked to make sure it was up to my standards. I'm sorry but doesn't this hotel have it's own standard. I don't have any acceptance for this situation when it comes to my husband's health nor my any and no person even employees should have to deal with this. I hope there are improvements made and other rooms checked. And one last thing. How can you effectively remove mold/mildew by only covering the spot you see or barely cutting 1in around the area. Masking what you see doesn't remove what you cant. Very, very disappointed. And this was shown to doctors at Duke since this hotel offers discounts for Duke patients

    Great location for Duke Clinic

    Nicely updated rooms. Professional staff. Easy drive to Duke Clinic. Multiple restaurants nearby, which is fortunate, since they dont currently have restaurant service at the hotel during the pandemic. Biggest advice: do NOT select a room on the pool side of the hotel, as it is also the I-85 side and the noise is impressive, even on the 6th floor.

    Surprisingly Dissatisfied.

    My fiancé and I came in late at night due to traveling, but I had a reservation. The front desk associate was amazingly hospitable...she was very helpful. We got to the room and there were numerous little issues I could point out, but we were too exhausted to go to another hotel (it was after midnight). I guess those little things were omens to what we were going to wake up to. We went to bed and woke up to the room FREEZING! The thermostat did not work and it was painstakingly cold. I called the manager and explained my issue, he told me that maintenance does not come in until 9am. Then I asked, what else can be done, his immediate response was there is nothing else I can do. Then when I asked to speak to the manager, he stated that he was the manager and that he can offer more blankets. Ridiculous that I had to let me speak to your manager him in order to get some type of immediate resolution (2 THIN blankets). Hilton hotels usually do an amazing job, Im even a Hilton Honors member. But I have to say, Im very disappointed by this one. Pictures: cracks in the surfaces of the ceiling, mold-like substance on the ceiling right above the bed, build up on the lamp shade, severe mildew-mold like substance in the tub. And the coup de grâce...the thermostat showing actual temperature of the room, and the temperature we tried to get it to (or at least near it). 68 degrees...in February...in North Carolina...need I say more. I dont want this review to deter anyone from staying there, I support business that support communities. But my objective is to have management, owner(s), and even the flagship to ensure that the money hardworking customers spend at this facility is reflected in the standard of their stay. Its not about being perfect, its about correcting issues in a diligent and professional manner.
