  Excelente hotel

  Recientemente he disfrutado de una estancia en el Hilton de Chengdu. Como siempre, magnifico hotel con habitaciones amplias, comodas y con equipamiento completo. Excelente comida. Gracias especiales al Chef Eric por su amabilidad y buen hacer. Mencion aparte merece Hiro por su profesionalidad, simpatia y cercania. Magnifico hotel con un equipo perfectamente dirigido.   Perfect Family Staycation

  The Hilton Chengdu checked all the boxes for us. I'm a Hilton Gold guest, so I debated the Canopy downtown or this, but I'm glad I went with the Hilton. I was concerned about the distance from downtown, but it is within walking distance of the Global Center and it's right by the subway. There's plenty around the hotel, though it is definitely in the business part of town. We taxied to the pandas and took the subway downtown once and that was enough for us. If you're really into sightseeing, you may want something more central. I read bad things about the other Hilton Chenghua, but there's nothing bad to say about this one. The service was great- we booked two rooms for our family of six (2 adults, 4 kids) and all the staff was so helpful. Jessica called me the day of check in and upgraded us to a suite for one of the rooms- this made all the difference because of traveling with kids! As others have mentioned, the pool is very crowded with non-guests who use the health club; some days there were no lockers available. But a side-benefit of this is that the pool opens early and closes late. They do make you wear swimming caps (I think this is law in China, but I never understood the point of it.) but they weren't pushy about it and even offered me a cap. The executive lounge made our stay. It's at the top of the hotel, so the city views are amazing. There was a quiet zone that is kid-free and phone-free, but the main area is very family-friendly. Afternoon tea is very light, but the evening snacks were really a light meal. It was replenished regularly and had a good selection. We had our breakfast in the lobby restaurant- it was pretty well-stocked, but not a lot of variety from day to day. One disappointment- really the only one- was the pool table that I saw pictured in some of the advertisements was not in use. We found it on the 3rd floor Oasis but it was kind of pushed into a corner and covered up. We intended to ask about it, but never did. I would hope they would have still let us use it. I'm always a big fan of having games and things to do whether it's a resort of a business hotel. Internet was pretty spotty and our VPN had a lot of trouble. Not sure if that's just China or if that's the hotel. Our 4G hotspot seemed to do better than the hotel Wifi. I really can't think of much to improve the experience. It was near-perfect for us and we left with some great memories.

  3 times living all free upgrade -thanks Felix QI and ASTRID and IRIS and ICEY

  1-For business trip ,I have 3 times living in Chengdu Hilton in 1 week, all for free up grade as a Gold member. Thanks Felix QI and ASTRID and IRIS and ICEY, These guys are so warm. 2-First about the location, the location is good.it is in the middle of two subway station about 5minutes. LINE ONE. 3-The suit has a very good welcoming fruit.08 room has a excellent view of the Xilingxueshan. 4-The suit is very big beyond your thoughts.sofa.two washing-room. big window.coffee machine.free bottle water.the bed is very comfortable. 5-About the executive lunge , it is good.soft drink alcohol drink fruit coffee from 7:00-21:00 .There are 3 ladies Astrid, ICEY AND IRIS who gave a warm and kind service.Thanks so much. Also it has salmon in the breakfast 6-If you live in the executive room ,you can have 2 cloths ironed for free everyday. 7-You can ride a bike to Luzhouli to eat the local food like maojiaohuola about 10minutes 8- The only thing that I think maybe get better is the opening time of the executive longe, only from 7:00-21:00. In the same time ,in just the same week , I also lived in the TIANTANGDAO InterContinental hotel chengdu which iw only 5 minutes away .This hotel execrative longe open from 6:30-23:00. I hope hilton chengdu can also have the similar opening time . 9-ALL in one words ,HILTON CHENGDU IS deserving your choice .

  Nice hotel but service and facilities lacking

  Having lived in China for four years and speaking fluent Chinese, we have been to our fair share of sub-par hotels. Given the prestige of this hotel and the brand-name, we expected a bit more than average. Our room on the 34th floor was large, comfortable and designed with modern flair, however the air conditioning didn't function (room temp was 25.5 degrees C regardless of air con settings). We asked the hotel to take a look, and the maintenance staff informed that this was as low as the temperature could go in this room, and suggested we open a window. The next day we told the front desk that the room was too hot and we'd like to change to a room with functional air con. They provided us a new room on the same floor, but there was no real sense of taking responsibility for for the issue, let alone apologizing for the inconvenience. Lo and behold when we get to the next room, of course the air con didn't work any better there. We gave up at that point, but this detracted from our enjoyment during the stay, and would be a major issue if it had been hotter. When we checked out, despite our having already paid for our stay online, they insisted we had yet to pay and wanted to charge us again. After 5 minutes of them reviewing their information they realized their mistake, but again there was no sense of compunction on their behalf for making an error. Ultimately this is a perfectly decent hotel, but service is not up to international standards and we had hoped for better.

  Hilton chengdu was excellent!

  I stayed at Hilton Chengdu in Nov 2020 . It was a VERY PLEASANT & COMFORTABLE stay. The room was very clean and big . The staff are very friendly and helpful . Especially the staff that work at the executive lounge . The girls name is Jessica DAI . BTW , the food and beverage provided at executive lounge is very good too. Thanks for your good service ! I will strongly recommend the hotel to my friends !
