  Excellent Christmas Party!!

  The whole evening was an all round enjoyable experience. I could not fault the food - all three courses were amazing and the food came out piping hot! The disco was great, had everyone up dancing and went on until 1am! The waitresses were smiley and attentive - Jackie the Supervisor of the restaurant was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Jayne the Duty Manager on that night was also very helpful and pleasant. Over all I had a fabulous evening and will 100% be returning next year, if not before then!! Thank you Hillscourt!! :-)

  Lovely

  Lovely 2 day stay here with daughter and two grandchildren. Perfect location for Cadbury's World. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Noisy neighbour first night but staff quickly found us another room for the second night. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. We ate here both nights and were very impressed with the food. Lots of free parking and potentially some lovely walks from the doorstep - too muddy during our stay due to recent storms but will be looking to return. Prices very reasonable.

  Good conference venue

  Another successful conference weekend at Hillscourt,great venue, don't know why it isn't swamped with business meetings and away days!!Go there, recommended.Great location, accommodation,food, and meeting management,with big city nearby!

  Lovely place, away from the hustle and bustle

  Have stayed here on a few occasions now and I have never had a bad stay. Lovely staff, great food, with a decent vegetarian selection,which is reasonably priced and comfortable rooms make it a go to place for me to stay when i am in the area. It is very close to Lickey Hills country park which is lovely and only a short drive to Birmingham. Highly recommended.

  Great Value for Money

  We came here looking for a quiet night away and that is exactly what we got. We hadn't realised that this is the head office of a teacher's union and a conference centre as well as a hotel. That was absolutely fine, it still serves very well as a hotel. It was very very quiet on the night that we stayed. That was absolutely fine too, it suited us perfectly but if any of the others here were looking for some atmosphere they would have ben disappointed. We were one of only two couples eating in the bar in the evening and again at breakfast the following morning. This may well have been down to Corona Virus fears as we stayed here just as the hyteria about the virus really began to take hold. Anyway, despite the eerie quietness we had a lovely stay. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and we had lovely vews of the gardens from our room. There were rabbits and ducks everywhere. The food we ate in the bar was delicious and filling and brilliant value for money. The menu is varied and interesting with polenty of options for meat eaters, veggies and vegans. The vegetarian sausage and mash is outstanding. Our room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. You might say that it needs a bit of a refresh decor wise and that the TV is quite small but in the context of the room rates it was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast is buffet style and the food suffered a little because of the low numbers. Hot food served buffet style is great when the turnover is high but our food had clearly been standing around for a while before we ate it. However, there was plenty of it, lots of choice and the cold food options were excellent. The few staff we encountered were excellent, they were all friendly and helpful and always on hand despite the low number of residents. We enjoyed our stay here and we'd be very happy to stay here again as it provides everything we need for a quiet getaway. It's not posh at all but the room rates refelct that and it would be hard to beat for good value for money.
