  We returned 7 years after getting married for our anniversary and it didnt disappoint!! Staff were amazing, service amazing, food the lot couldnt fault a thing. Thanks to Gill for looking after us so well.

  A Perfect Christmas Wedding

  After having our original wedding day in April cancelled, a two further cancelled dates after that we changed our venue and booked our wedding for 23/12/20 with less than 3 weeks notice to organise. We had thought about having no reception given the COVID situation but as soon as we visited Hillbark and met Amanda and the rest of the team we couldnt resist booking a small intimate wedding with our close family. It had been a stressful time organising with so much uncertainty but whenever we visited we felt so relaxed and at ease and Amanda was always the other end of a phone to help out. There were so many changes of plan along the way, even up until the morning of the wedding but nothing was too much trouble for Amanda, Craig, Lisa, Gill, Cherie and the rest of the team. We get we got to know them on a personal level. On the day of the wedding they were up so early tending to all our needs. The food was exceptional and we were given two meal choices for our guests, despite the small numbers. They even managed to attend to my husbands peculiar food habits which is a huge challenge within itself. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and despite the rain all day it didnt matter as there were so many beautiful photograph opportunities both indoors and outdoors. The bridal suite which we stayed in for the night of our wedding was such a treat, with a huge bed, jaccuzzi bath, and complimentary champagne waiting for us. The view was stunning looking out over Royden park where we often walk our dog and wales in the distance. The following day Amanda let us stay as long as we wanted, and it was difficult to tear ourselves away. We cant thank Hillbark enough for giving us a magical day to remember and we are looking forward to visiting again on a regular basis. Thank you!

  Covid Wedding

  My daughter arranged her wedding here at late notice during the 2020 Covid crisis. The hotel were so accommodating. They went out of their way to make it a most memorable and intimate wedding as the restrictions would allow. We had a lovely day.

  Winter wedding.

  Like many couples whose wedding plans were postponed again and again in 2020,my daughter and her now husband decided just to go for it with 15. But where to at such short notice? Enter the amazing Amanda and her team. From day one she looked after all their needs, at the end of the phone for the slightest of queries, she is a true professional.We can't thank Hillbark enough for making my daughter's wedding day everything and more than they could have wished for.

  Stayed September 19. We all had our wedding here in August 2021. We have also been back fir many meals.

  Hillbark is by far the best experience we have ever had in any hotel. The staff are beyond amazing, the cuisine is exceptional and the surroundings are tranquil. If you are looking for a high end yet comforting break look no further as we have been to many places around the world and none compares to the understated natural decadence and quality of Hillbark. Definitely one everyone should experience at least once.
