  Mountain View

  What a beautiful place - as we were driving up the (very) remote path, my son found and played the Jurassic Park sound track, which had us in fits of laughter as we arrived. Mountain View was exactly that. Awesome. There was a very friendly Australian King Parrot that welcomed us and wanted feeding (there was bird feed in the cabin). The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen was particularly well equipped - often these places are let down with sub standard pots, pans and knives, etc. Not here - all great quality and so cooking was easy and fun. Beds very comfortable and what a log burning fire!! Ive scrolled down and seen one negative comments about hot water and I want to respond - we had 4 people and (admittedly we didnt have baths but we did all have long showers) we never ran out of hot water! And great wine tours available - we went with a great one that is dog friendly: Pooches and Pinot I will be rebooking this cottage in March when my mother visits.

  Weekend in the Yarra Valley

  We stayed at Hill 'n' Dale Farm Cottages over a weekend with friends in the Yarra Valley. Great place to stay out of town It is such a beautiful place to stay we loved it would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

  Amazing place to visit

  Had a visit to Yama ki , stayed in stringy bark cottage . Cottage was well equipped Kids enjoyed their time as they had toys DVDs and books . it was a very beautiful experience Meditation walk in the forest was mesmerising. Thank you eddy and phoung we will visit again.

  Perfect weekend get away!

  We stayed in the Mt View cottage and it was absolutely perfect. The hosts are friendly and gave us a tour around their property (while eating fresh veggies from the vegetable garden) the house was clean, the little touches like the organic shampoo and conditioner and fresh milk was great, and the view was just amaaaazing. Highly recommend!

  Great getaway from it all

  We had a lovely and relaxing 2 night stay at Fern Lee cottage in its very restful setting among the trees and many kookaburras and parakeets. This cottage had a wonderful king size bed, with a sizeable en suite bathroom. The kitchen was functional and good for breakfast (sitting on the verandah). For other meals we chose to dine at Healesvilles many cafes and restaurants (about 30 mins away). We also both enjoyed a remarkably relaxing shiatsu massage with Phuong. We would happily choose to stay there again.
