  Comfortable Stay In Great Location

  Stayed at this hotel twice in February. Great location on Street 174 with many key attractions within about 15 minutes walk. Close to popular bars, restaurants and LGTB venues. Hotel includes spa and massage facilities with introductory discounts. Staff generally helpful and keen to make your stay comfortable. Deluxe rooms are quite spacious and clean. Breakfast is limited to several dishes and not a good choice for vegetarians so I ended up ordering just omelette, toast, jam and coffee. Overall a good stay.

  Money missing from our room

  We stayed at Highland for 4 nights in April. The hotel was comfortable, but after leaving we discovered that we had $500 missing from one of our bags that never left our room during our stay. Without making any accusations, we messaged the staff at Highland to see if they knew anything, or at the very least could help us out since we had already moved on to our next destination. No response at all from the hotel after we had sent three messages through both their email address and Agoda messaging. We were lucky enough to have the flexibility to return to Phnom Penh and went straight to Highland to see if they received our messages and for help. They acknowledged that they read our messages and said that they couldnt do anything. All in all the most disappointing part was really the fact that they chose not to respond to us at all hoping that we would just go away. We recognize we are responsible in part for not locking our money in the room safe, but were shocked to find money taken from a hidden place in our bag at a seemingly reputable hotel. Their lack of communication and concern over the affair left us further upset with the incident. We were able to successfully report the incident to Phnom Penh Tourist Police (thats another story).

  Great location with big & new room

  New hotel, big room with good facilities. Got check in early 6AM in the morning. Friendly staffs. Good breakfast. Excellent location that near Royal Palace, Central market & pub street. Value for money.

  A good and affordable place to stay in Phnom Penh

  The Highland Hotel in 174 Street, this was the former Blue Tongue Hotel. Good location near entertainment area, but about 800 m from the river front. The new owners did a good job in renovating the façade of the hotel but the balconies have been removed. The rooms are light, spacious and modern, with good lighting, comfortable beds, clean linen, laminated floors and a good wardrobe and coat hangers, the bathrooms are large and clean. To me some minus points were that like in the Blue Tongue Hotel, the windows cannot be opened, and I would have liked two pillows instead of one. The hotel lobby is modern and free breakfast is served there until 10.00 am. The hotel features a spa and massage parlor, a bar and restaurant. A good and affordable place to stay in Phnom Penh

  good hotel clean and friendly

  for highland hotel is nice location. i jusr stay 1 night for business trip. for me this hotel is clean and cheap ! you can walk to convenience store only 2 mins or if you tired you can go to Thai spa clean hotel and staff is friendly.
