Nice stayNice small hotel in the middle of Jomtien bar zone. Very friendly staff, and serves good breakfast. I stayed at the penthouse suite, which was a small disappointment. It's spacious, but the interior and furniture did not meet my expectations. I guess the smaller and cheaper rooms are more worth the price. Anyway, a hotel worth recommendation.

Highly recommended for a quiet stay in Pattaya. We booked this room based on the reviews in Booking.com and TripAdvisor. We stayed here 11 days. From the port of Pattaya we took a scooter taxi to Jomtien Soi 7. For us a little weird to go through a street full of bars and anime girls. We were kindly received by the staff of the Hight Lords and were given a large room on the third floor. In the room a large double bed, wardrobe with built-in safe. Furthermore, a low cupboard with TV. The bathroom was not that big, but with a separate shower part. Outside a large terrace with a table and chairs. The reception is always staffed and the staff is extremely friendly. They do everything possible to meet your needs. The room is cleaned daily and the towels are refreshed The residence is very central. On the terrace there is a bit of music in the evening, but once inside with the windows closed you can not hear anything anymore. Just in front of the High Lords there is a supermarket (Familymart) that is open 24h every day. In the vicinity there are several good restaurants. Highly recommended for a quiet stay in Pattaya.

Great hotel and value for moneyThe website pictures don't do this hotel justice, it's 2 mins from the beach and 2 mins from the food market on second road. It's surrounded by condo's so nice and quiet however you have to walk past girly bars to reach it, as a male solo traveller it can become monotonous, a smile and a no thank you quickly works . I'm sure there are many though who think this is a bonus . The receptionist has to be one of the nicest in Thailand even offering to take my bowl of noodle soup to my room instead of seeing me struggle, a real asset to the hotel. I booked a standard but was given a deluxe with separate living room, kitchenette and bedroom all for 850baht a night. Highly recommended.

Just an ok visit, with one terrible managerHave home in Jomtien but we had extra people come for holidays so I when to hotel. Booked with High Lords Residence and stayed 2 weeks in 2 different rooms. The two room were both "family" rooms, but what a difference, 1 bed was soft where the other was Very Firm. Wifi was very different in both rooms as well as television reception! So that was very disappointing to see two identical rooms with different features. House keeping was pretty good, but shower drain seemed to have some gas back up. On one occasion the hotel seemed to have "lost" my room key. When I was attempting to complain the "manager" had a fit and was way out of line. Come to find out that she had a "fit" right in front of the owner. I advised the owner of the problems I have occurred and of the managers lack of professionalism. She agreed and I did not see the "manager" for the remaining week... ??? maybe the hotel got tire of her S*#%? Again with all border line hotels I would give High Lords another chance.

High Lords Residence: A Hotel or a Cafe?First of all, keep in mind that High Lords Residence cannot be found easily if you are coming from Bangkok in a taxi. It is located in Soi 7 and to be specific in the middle of Soi 7, opposite Family Mart cold store. it is located between a laundrey on the right and Moo restaurant on the left. There is no door but instead there is a cafe and restaurant which you have to pass to reach the reception. There is no visible sign of the hotel either. Inside the Cafe, there are two counters, one for the restaurant and the second for the hotel. The lady at the counter is very friendly and efficient. After registration, you must carry your luggage to the second floor where the lift is located. Having said so, let me tell you what you get in a deluxe room. Amazingly, a deluxe room has all amenities of 4 star hotels. First, it has a balcony, a sitting room with a large LED TV set, an AC and a desk. Outside the sitting room, there is a small kitchen with a fridge, a microwave and cups and plates. Then there is a bedroom; another AC and large LED TV set. The bed is soft and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower and it is clean. Downstairs the cafe serves breakfasts and lunch at reasonable prices. Last but not least, you have to deposit 1000 Baht at the hotel. This money is refundable. I recommend the hotel for solo travellers.
