  Freezing and unpleasant

  Stay away from this place if you want to have an enjoyable experience in Bright. The rooms are extremely cold and the bathroom simply freezing! At this time of the year the temperatures are below zero and this motel is not prepared to provide a comfort stay in cold months. Cold air is coming in constantly through the 24h open ventilation grill on top of each window. There is not heater or heating system in the bathroom at all, so we had to buy our own portable heater to be able to use that bathroom. The towels were always wet due to the cold temperature inside the room and bathroom and room service was not provided daily as advertised. The room doesn't get any warm since there is a small aircon split placed quite high and it is insufficient to heat that room with such a high ceiling and constant airflow coming in through the bathroom. We were wearing our jackets inside the room! The Wi-Fi was not working neither and the communication with the motel was terrible too, as they just ignore any petition and don't reply back any email. Absolutely terrible experience! We are seeking a refund through Booking.com but it seems they are also passing the buck. Never again!!

  Excellent Value for Money

  We stayed in a standard room for 2 nights, we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 21, it was very spacious had a little kitchenette along with a great separate bathroom with a shower and a bath. The rooms are a little vintage in their styling however as a couple in our late 20's we felt they represented great value. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities required. We walked into town multiple times especially in the evenings, it took us around 15 mins and is a lovely walk. Our room opened out onto the pool and would be perfect for a family in the summer. We will definitely be back!

  Nice out of the way motel

  I stayed here for a couple of days this week, its situated a little way out of the town centre so was fairly quiet traffic wise. This is a nice motel with rooms backing onto a large garden and pool playground area. The unit I stayed in was adequately equipped with all you need for a few days, though the bed was a bit spongy on the one side. Price is pretty good for Bright, and overall I found it fairy easy to get to everything from here.

  Not a lot of choice at this time of the year and you certainly pay accordingly. After waiting for the woman in reception to finish a lengthy personal phone call I discovered that even at 3.00 in the afternoon you simply collect your key from a box outside the door. If I'd known that she could have kept chatting. Whilst clean enough the rooms are the most outdated I've ever come across. Built in the 70s I'm guessing and never ever changed a thing. Stay here as a last resort.

  Nice hide away

  We checked in very quickly and off to our spa room, very 80's The room is very much a country motel with exposed brick walls, but clean and comfortable, bed made for a good night sleep, TV reception is excellent, water is HOT and pressure is excellent. The only draw back is we set the air con to 18 and it still did not cool the room, we had to sleep with the door open to cool the room, and yes it was set to air con and not heat, I did check that twice. The grounds are well kept and the pool area is nice to sit around. The great point is, the do allow pets at no extra costings.
