  Nice hotel with nice rooms, good food and beautiful surroundings...

  We stayed here for only one night as we were visiting a close-by amusement park - so unfortunately, we didnt have time to explore the beautiful surroundings and try out the bicycle or canoe options :) You can hear occasional noise from the nearby road and railroad - but we didnt notice anything during the night - we just slept - in the comfortable beds (for the adults ...not so comfortable for the kids).  The staff was friendly and nice - and even though we came at 6 pm to a fully booked restaurant - they found a table right away - which was very appreciated when we had our two hungry and tired boys with us (age 7 and 9)! We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both meals were good. I liked the organic breakfast buffet - but it would have been much better if the staff was quicker to fill-up the buffet - when we were there just before 9 am a lot of foods were missing, and we could have the last of whatever were left. The staff came with more, but most of it was gone again before we returned to the buffet.  But all in all a hotel with nice rooms, good food and beautiful surroundings.

  One of my favorite places in the world!

  I have been visiting the Hestraviken Hotell & Restaurang yearly for 25 years. It is a beautiful little resort with superb accommodations and restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming (Maria and Ida in Reception especially) and in the restaurant (Tolo and Anncie especially). The restaurant food is excellent, and their Julbord lunches and dinners in December are fantastic. The hotel consists of several buildings, but I always prefer the rooms in the yellow Manor House, as they are larger and some have fireplaces. The Manor House also has a basement level with a hot tub and sauna, and a pool table.

  So nice!

  This hotel is a really nice place, so beautiful location and so many activities. The staff is sweet and helpful, the rooms are clean, new looking og very nice. The food are also very good, both breakfast and dinner. The only thing that was a bit problem for me, was the bed, that was to soft for my back. Otherwise this is a hotel I defenitily will come back to! Maria

  Nice hotel

  Hotel have perfect location near beautiful lake, mostly all rooms have amazing view to the lake and grounds. Calming atmosphere for relaxing weekend. Room was nice room, staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, lunch and dinner was moderated!

  Outstanding !

  An oasis of tranquility, excellent service, good food and top class facilities and accommodation. Special acknowledgement to the lady receptionist who was probably the best weve come across in Sweden. So polite, accommodating and professional shes the Star of the show. Thank you and hope to see you again.
