  Always a pleasure

  Hesselet is one of these place you love coming back to whether you are there for the night or just for lunch or dinner. The hotel is located right at the coast and offers all the old world charm that you can imagine. The new rooms are luxurious and well equipped, the restaurant serves excellent food and most of the staff are smiling and service minded.

  A very cozy charming picturesque hotel

  I stayed here for one evening after a business meeting but would have loved to stay longer to explore this charming property and what it has to offer along with the surrounding area. Although an older hotel,the Hesselet is well maintained while keeping its charm. My host who suggested the property said its older,but its cozy and you will feel taken care of as opposed to being a number at the other large hotel in town. I could not agree more with that statement. Starting with the warm welcome from the front desk to the delightful dinner in the hotel restaurant I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is included in your stay and they do quite a nice job in their main dining room of the traditional European self-service breakfast buffet. This is a private family owned property which was apparent to me throughout my brief stay as everything was done to ensure a quests satisfaction. I couldve easily curled up on the loveseat in the room with a good book for hours gazing at the view if I was able to stay for an additional day or two! I will definitely stay here on my next trip to the area.

  i stayed one night and defiantly not the last time.super location direkt at the sea.the hotel can be described as an elderly modern grand hotel with a timeless high class interior.super public areas,great paintings and superior rooms.i travel a lot but never had a room with timeless classic danish design furniture like that and never a boxspring with electric lifting devise to bring it in seating position . the restaurant had been another highlight great food,good service.service in generell is very good and makes you feel welcome

  Nice stay

  We have been here a few times and enjoy the atmosphere and surroundings. The interior is old school cool. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Visited the restaurant and were a bit disappointed by the prices on the wine list. Obviously most people go for the wine menu. But the bottles are very high priced. I will probably visit the hotel again, but not the restaurant.

  Excellent in every respect

  We stayed for one night on our way to Jutland. The Japanese style gives this hotel a special atmosphere: Elegant, exclusive quality. Rooms and common areas look like the best you could make in the 1960'ies, but the superb quality and good maintenance has kept the property really nice. Normally you would refurbish every ten or twenty years, but not here. Why? Service was very friendly and breakfast second to none: Not quantity but quality.
