  Very good buffet style breakfast

  The hotel was very pleasant to return to after a busy day of sight seeing. It is a simple hotel with no communal area but for us this was no problem. From the city and the station there are buses that pass close to the hotel. As the hotel is situated in a pleasant residential side road it seems to be a quiet location. Apart from when we first arrived we chose to walk to and from the medieval centre of the city, The road to the city centre is not scenic and for people who do not walk regularly it may seem a bit far but we were fine with the distance . The station for trains and buses is closer and it was easy to catch either a bus or a train to Travemunde situated on The Baltic. We were very happy that we could access our room earlier than the check in time . The one negative is that there is no kettle in the room but at night time on request we were given boiled water for our tea,

  Good location to the city

  This is a very small hotel in the middle of the street. Easy to find by car and you can park behind the hotel for free. Small room and small bathroom. It was clean so it was ok. It don't have a safty box. The hotel has no elevator. Breakfast was a bit small. We did walk into Lubeck from the hotel and it tooks us 20 min. If you have problems to walk or small kids, take the bus or a taxi.

  Excellent three star hotel

  We stayed at Herrenhof one night having arrived late in the evening with ferry to Travemünde with a long drive the next day. Needed a good night's sleep and a nourishing breakfast. And this we got. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway, but shielded from the noise. Easy to find. Good free parking on site. Clean and modern facilities, everything in impeccable order. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Affordable price. Three star hotel at its best. Thank you, hope to see you again.

  Great breakfast, good choice for short stay

  We stayed here for one night before taking the ferry to Denmark. The hotel was perfect for this: right off the motorway, safe and free parking, clean and comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Short distance to some supermarkets as well.

  Short but nice

  Weve had a pleasant stay at this clean , small and quiet hotel. The breakfast was tasty but unfortunately not a lot of choices. The Staff was polite and ready to solve the small issues. For one or two nights its not a bad choice to sleep at this hotel.
