    A once beautiful hotel

At one time this hotel must have been very elegant . Though now it is quite worn and some would say shabby. Rooms were very large and comfortable. WI FI available for 100 baht for 2 hours . The full breakfast was free. and the reasturant food was prepared really well. Only problem is you have to like Thai cusine. There european affair was lacking. The staff were most helpful and freindly. And when I was there they had a front door staff to take care of luggage and calling taxis ect. This hotel caters mostly to Thai conventions. and meetings. and at times very full and noisy. The pool was nice but was to cold to swim in January Yes I said cold in Thailand. If you go try to get a room away from the main lobby it will be much quieter. If you have a Thai friend have them rent the room they get it for 1000 baht a night. I stayed for 3 weeks and I will go back

Stay here only when others are fully booked

This is an old and run-down resort. Poor maintenance of the building but quite clean. Do not expect anything at all for just 1000 baht per night. Had breakfast for first 2 days but skip on the 3rd day. Staying in the town will be a better choice though this resort is near the industrial estate.

    Old but grand hotel

We stayed here, because everything else was booked. Like others have said, it must have been nice at one time. I still enjoyed it, I thought the staff was most helpful. The rooms are huge,I had free WiFi, and I enjoyed a free breakfast buffet.

    Shame of the hospitality world

Besides of its past "grandeur" and its still extraordinnary setting and decoration, this property is a disaster particularly at that price.Lower priced hotels in Khorat are by far better. The hotel was low in occupancy and only few services availables. In many aspects it did looked like an abandonned property. Pool was closed (at the peak of the hot season), air condition and light turned off in most of the public spaces, including the lobby !!!!! Breakfast bad to average, rooms very dirty particularly the bathrooms, at check in around 11pm we had to try 3 different rooms to finally have a functionning air condition, no real bath amenities, torn towells, no bar or restaurant available exceptvfor breakfast, unattentive and unprofessionnal staff in some areas, no iron, no hairdryer. Some staff members were very helpful and gentle but they clearly lack training as well as basic english skills. It absolutely is a hotel to avoid particularly looking at the much higher quality on offer in the country and in the region

    Ghost Hotel

A grande dame of a hotel which has not aged with grace. It's a huge hotel and property....Rooms are out dated but can understand why the owners don't want to spend money with renovations since we appeared to be the only guests in the hotel. It was kind of eerie. Staff is friendly and attentive. This hotel must have been built back in the days before there were many other hotels in Korat. It's ok for the price I suppose.
