  Beautiful Shark Bay

  We have just had 1 week in the Heritage Resort Shark Bay which was wonderful. The Resort has everyting that you need, rooms are big and they even have a coffee machine in the room. Sailing from Monkey Mia was fantastic saw lots of sea life, and the girl crew were wonderful. The Heritage staff are very friendly, from room service to bar service and of course the restaurant and reception.( you must try the garlic prawns.) We were just sorry that they put Lobster on the menue after we left but maybe next time. The owner Des and his wife were very friendly, and helpful during our stay. We must mention Eddy who was doing a bit of work in the hotel was also a very interesting guy. Well done the Heritage and all the best for the New Year to all.

  Damp Hotel

  The room is sizeable complete with fridge and microwave but it is just too damp.It has stale and damp smell everywhere,the carpet,bathroom,sofa.It was unbearable.I cant wait to complete the 3 nights stay.Cleanliness is poor.The bathroom needs thorough scrub.The wc was not clean with stool left over and the edge.The balcony was not swept with spots of sands.The corridors are not clean. The hotel had its glory days and badly need refurbishment.Spoke to Des the hotel owner who admitted that he is looking for a buyer.Maybe thats what the hotel need,a new investor that would put back zest to the hotel.It has the best location in Denham.We hope to come back after it is redone with new interior and better room ventilation.

  Amazing vidws

  The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Aircon worked great. The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff were friendly. The only part about the food was that 3 of our 4 meals came out at once then our other friend had to wait another 10+ minutes for their meal. The pool was nice and our room had great views.

  A great stay!

  We stayed for only one night but found everything to be in very good condition. Bed was comfortable, room clean and tidy, and the bathroom was modern - it has recently undergone a full upgrade. View from the balcony was great. We would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you!

  Visit IGA instead ..

  Ordered starters and Mains ... big day on the road so was looking forward to a nice cooked family meal . Main meals started to be served and I politely asked the waitress where the actual starters where as they are suppose to come first - my reply was I dont know I just serve the meals So we ended up with mains and starters all at the same time . . . Kids meals where fine - cant really go wrong with Chips and nuggets . Parmi was a small serve but not horrible - just small . Thai Beef Salad was atrocious. . . Was more like a lettuce - yellow capsicum and beef fat/grissel plate . . . By far the worse example of Thai Beef Salad I have ever seen ... This is exactly how the salad came out and after just the meat (which was tender maybe as it was either fat or raw ) was eaten . Bistro area was full to the brim and it appeared a restaurant area wasnt being used .... Very disappointing to have a tourist based town putting out meals of average and below average standards .
