  Clean rooms and good food - Returning customer

  My second trip to the cape for work this time and will keep staying at the heritage resort. Rooms are clean and spacious. Restaurant has range of food options from Thai, steaks and pizza. Staff are accommodating and welcoming. Will be back with the family again next time for holidays.

  stayed 6 nights as part of a package

  The room was clean, that is the good bit. The Heritage in no way resembles a "resort". It is a barely 2 star motel. Our room offered a bleak outlook on to the rear car park of a shopping mall. There was only one chair. Management are frosty and unaccommodating . There is limited accommodation options in Weipa, so if you have to stay here, at least you have been warned.

  Very nice

  Rooms are clean and large.restaurant is fantastic .best pizzas and thai food very big serves.friendly staff.will return.Shopping centre next door.200 mts to waterfront.pub short drive away also golf and bowls clubs less than 5 minute drive away.

  Family Visit

  I stayed 7 nights, 4 days without hot water. No basic eating utensils. No information pack with details of motel services nor places to see in Weipa. Bathroom exhaust fan not working. The floor and cupboard were dirty. I used the ironing board as a table. The fire extinguisher is poorly positioned. There are insufficient power points. I bought a double adaptor. The refrigerator is rusty. No phone to the front desk. Apart from the above, all good.

  Average!

  Stayed one night, room is dated, dust,dirt under the bed, bed is light and rolls around the room and can't sit up on it against the wall without it pushing away from wall. Chairs and chase would be better suited in a castle. No breakfast offered. No ceiling fan, one power point behind the bed and not practical.
