  Motorcycle stay over

  A group of us on motorcycles stayed over for a night to break a long journey North. This Hotel is ideal for a budget stay over. The rooms though basic were clean and comfortable. There is a car park to the rear which appears relatively safe for parking the bikes. Attached to the Hotel is a fantastic Indian restaurant where the food and service is great and the prices are good. We had a slight issue with our booking arrangement and Jay the owner made a special trip in out of hours to help us sort the issue with the booking agent. What a great Guy fantastically helpful and a real gent. If you are looking for a good value stay over with a great Indian cuisine and safe parking for your bike the Heritage Hotel is ideal. We plan to stay again on our next trip through. Once again a big thank you to Jay for the support and help. Great Stay

  What a dive!

  This experience was awful from start to finish! Check in took forever and the receptionist was rude and surly. We had to find our own way to the rooms, and when we got there, I found my sheets had been slept in previously. I complained, but the receptionist didn't seem at all surprised. Says it all. Things continued in the same manner ... toilet didn't flush properly, shower was dirty etc. etc. And forget about the photos of the gorgeous buffet breakfast on the website, we had a very limited set menu for breakfast, all very mediocre. The place is virtually empty (not surprisingly) and I doubt they have had a buffet breakfast for years. Although we only ate in the restaurant for breakfast, we went in at night for a drink, and the smell of the buffet food was horrid, and I could swear I saw the same plate of sausage rolls reappearing each night. Go elsewhere.

  Don't bother

  Where to start firstly the receptionist is rude and hard to deal with she didn't even know what an iron was I had to draw it. When we left we needed a taxi at the time neither of us had a phone signal and again we asked reception to book us one and all we got is we don't do that. They don't mention on their site you need to pay a bond for your key and getting your bond back is a pain in the ass. The shower has an electric fan inside the shower and that is completely illegal. I would never make a return visit myself and my partner was disappointed with everything.

  Business stop over

  Located outside Leicester, good clean hotel, with a great Indian restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast was an ideal start to the day, no choice offered, but good fry up. Plenty of parking for vehicles, including larger vans. Easy to find and easy to get to, with good links to the city.

  Not good heritage

  Booked on line and was quoted £61, when I checked in, it was £76, then a further £10.95 for breakfast, then a £30 bond for your room key. After you stay, there is no way on earth, you'd want to keep the key. The reception and catering seems to be done by the same lady. You have to pre order breakfast, and the time. They had never heard of poached eggs??? So I had boiled. So coffee, boiled eggs and toast = £10.95. Room was basic, shower was mouldy and reeked. I was there for 2 nights, bin wasn't emptied at all during my stay. The supposed fire doors all have over a 3mm gap, which is illegal? Wall's are paper thin, so my neighbour was watching TV till gone midnight, I might has well watched the same programme. Mostly used by road maintenance men, who leave very early and very noisily. Breakfast is actually in the Indian Restaurant next door. I have told all my work colleagues to give this place a wide berth. They tried to charge my friend £86 , who was also quoted £61, then the card machine wasn't working, so they offered the carbon slide, uummm no. Will no way go back. Terrible terrible place. For the price they charge, Dick Turpin should work there.
