  Lugar para desconectar

  Había estado en 2009 me pareció un lugar maravilloso, las casas muy bien decoradas con todo lo necesario y más, las instalaciones maravillosas. Este año estuve en agosto y me desilusionó un poco porque el mantenimiento es escaso. Tuvimos problemas en la primera casa que nos alojaron y después de quejarnos nos cambiaron de casa y la experiencia fue como en 2009. Maravillosa.

  Relaxing Alentejo

  If you are looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay this is the place. A jewel in the middle of nowhere. The staff at reception are really nice and even attended my calls after closing hours. Our house was upgraded (I'm guessing for accomodity reasons) with flexible check-in hours. Cleaning was fine except for hair found on two of the pillowcases. Should pay more attention to these important details. The swimming pool area clean every day. We requested a clothes rack first day we arrived and this was never delivered. Very few kitchen utilities.

  A lot of wasted potential...

  Stayed with a group of friends, 2 houses with 3 rooms each. Houses were ok, but some details could be definitely improved. Living room door to the terrace was broken and could not be closed, free wifi is only on the reception area, tv has only half a dozen channels, swimming pool was a 10 minute walk under the blazing sun or a 2 min drive. Kitched could be better equipped with more dishes, glasses, etc. On the positive side, the swimming pool was great for kids, and the houses were big and comfortable.

  Ok, but with several faults

  On the minus side: The house was freezing cold at arrival, the excuse that "some customers don't like air conditioning" is inadmissible in December with temperatures around the 12ºC (in and out). With AC on the living room and bedrooms, these can be warmed relatively quick, but the corridor, kitchen and social bathroom are always cold. No hairdryer, considering all the other amenities available it's a fault. The general fell looking at the houses and reception is of a property that it's not taken care of, the houses need painting (chipped paint). The bed sheets were of poor quality. Absent staff most of the time (you get a card with a mobile number), even at check out nobody at reception, key was left inside the house. No wi-fi in the house (only in reception) On the plus side: Big house, lots of space Kitchen with lots of appliances, a few detergent tablets for the dishwashing machine. The setup of the houses allows privacy, not 100% but very good.

  Worst Place for holidays that i have found in Portugal

  Hard to find something good, because almost aspects are negative, such as: -> Private Pool was so dirty that i guess is only ok for the Shrek. Have a lots of insects and the pool lamp was out with a risk of short circuit. Was a drity and dangerous pool. -> Dirty place, bad smells. Problem for those with a good sense of smell -> Some furniture was broken (no maintenance) -> Found some holes in the wall (I have photos) -> Unfriendly staff and little available to hear complaints I guess that in beginning (first years) was good place, however the current situation is very different, due to the lack of maintenance and bad staff. They want only your money and not care with the quality of the service.
