  Hotel muy bueno con excelente ubicación

  Mi estadía por el Hotel Helmos fue muy buena. Es un hotel que está 100% reciclado! Las habitaciones tienen vista a la montaña y cuentan con un muy buen sistema de calefacción central a los efectos de contrarrestar las bajas temperaturas de la zona. Cuenta con un desayuno bufet bastante completo para enfrentar las gélidas mañanas! Lo único que no estuvo bien fue que en el momento de nuestra estadía el sistema de calefacción del comedor había dejado de funcionar por problemas técnicos. La dueña colocó estufas portátiles, pero el frío se sentía. Con una buena campera sorteamos el problema sin dificultad! Todo lo demás fue estupendo! Lo recomiendo!

  Like a time warp

  Conveniently located, a beautiful building, but dated very average rooms, and a dining area out of the forties. Breakfast buffet was adequate, and the staff was present but somewhat uninterested. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, however the bathroom needed some work, the lack of half the shower screen meant water went everywhere from the running shower, the mould on the walls was rather unsightly.

  Value for money

  Great value for money, lovely breakfast, good location. Kalavrita is a fantastic town and the Helmos Hotel was very centrally located. Its a little dated but we liked the old charm. Finding the hotel and parking was also easy.

  A historical building which unfortunately did not live up to our expectations

  The location is the best in Kalavryta. There is ample parking while being right at the center of the village. There is a beautiful square the hotel is situated upon with trees all around. You can lay in bed and be able to watch the enormous pine tree situated right in the middle. On Saturday mornings there is a farmers market set up which adds to the whole atmosphere. It seems that at some point the bedrooms were renovated however this does not go for the bathrooms as well. We were very satisfied by the size of the rooms however not with the amenities or the condition of the bathrooms. Our main issue though was the heating or lack of. The first night was so cold we had to wear our clothes in bed. Thank heavens there was a group of school children arriving the next day. The hotel was fully booked by this group and miraculously the heating was working during the night for the remaining nights of our stay. The owner is lucky to have hard working staff, all around players and patient complain receivers.

  very nice for a family

  we went skiing nice, nice breakfastm, they allowed us to saty at teh fireplace at night drinkuing our own wine making noise with our kids nice spatious,. elevator provided they offered xmas deserts for free nice people
