  Quiet stay - lovely restaurant

  Stayed for one night as part of road trip. The lodge was small but had everything we needed. The hotel restaurant was busy and jolly with helpful staff. Food was good, hummingbirds were amazing for a UK visitor to see! Took a trip to Clearwater lake the following morning and was delighted to see a couple of black bears which was an extra bonus. thanks for lovely stay

  Very nice family atmosphere

  A really nice lodge in the middle of nowhere, so calm that you sleep like a baby for 8h! Very warm welcome, very nice ladies, everything had been settled down through the Facebook page the night before (type of beds, dinner booking), quick answers, good room, good food, really nice waitress, if you travel from Jasper to Vancouver, dont miss Helmcken Falls, its waterfalls and its lodge ;o)

  Rustic place

  The lodge is nice a bit outdated and very simple (you dont have air conditioning, nights are a bit cold). I think all the rooms faced the view on the mountain and the golf this is breathtaking. We tried the restaurant and as per the guides they were mentioning that the food was not that great and expensive. We were expecting basic and not that good food. We were finally surprised as the food was not that bad. The staff are very nice and friendly. Some of them speak french and English.

  A little haven - highly recommended

  Close to Wells Gray Park entrance, and basically in the middle of nowhere lies this little place. It offers rooms in lodge style accommodation, some more motel style rooms and has a RV site too. We stayed in one of the more expensive lodge rooms which we found to be spacious and very comfortable. The decor wasn't to our taste, but it was not tired either and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a small balcony with seating and all the windows and balcony doors were screened (so no issues with mozzies). Parking was conveniently allocated right outside our lodge. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and on both occasions the food was clearly freshly cooked with quality ingredients by a chef who knows what they are doing. A special mention must go to the restaurant waiting staff who were all exceptionally friendly and very efficient. It's a beautiful spot with lovely views, and you can even watch hummingbirds on the feeders as you eat your meal. The only slight downside was that the soundproofing between rooms was not great, but you get that in a lot of places. Don't expect luxurious accommodation, but it is very comfortable, and really quite a special little place to stay. Highly recommended.

  Out in the sticks

  If you want your phone or internet access then you are out of luck(will have to wait). This location will bring you back to earth. It will recharge your battery. I had my best night sleep here while in BC
