  Staff were so helpful

  I stayed at the hotel last week to deliver a training event in one of the conference suites and the staff were incredibly helpful. Particular thanks go to Pam at reception and Jason who assisted with IT and the training room. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was a real pleasure to see them each day. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was excellent. I am returning again this week and couldn't be happier

  Lovely friendly staff

  Lovely hotel and food. We enjoyed the spa facilities. We would definitely come again. The staff were all very friendly and hard working. Overall we enjoyed a relaxing experience and would feel confident in booking again.

  Use of gym

  I have been a member of bodyscene gym for over a year now and love it staff and members all very friendly Lockdown hit us all very hard in March and I was overjoyed when the gym opened up again with all the safety measures in place staff always cleaning and I feel very safe unfortunately come Thursday the gym will close again and the staff are uncertain of the future of the gym which is very sad keep up the good work bodyscene

  Ok hotel

  Stayed for one night, the room was clean but very small. The staff were pleasant particularly the lady at breakfast. We paid for bed and breakfast and had an evening meal, the meal was just ok but I was disappointed to find out after we left that the hotel did a deal for this but we were not offered it, so I would suggest booking from the hotel site rather than through a booking service. Generally I would say this is an ok hotel but based on the hotel I stayed the following evening felt it was a bit overpriced.

  Made to feel very welcome

  Just need to make a very special mention of Amy on reception (and room service, and bar and customer relations !) - me and my 3 colleagues had just travelled down from Scotland and had just finished a very involved and difficult installation in Nottingham on Thursday , and having booked the Hellaby Hall Hotel , we exhaustingly arrived during the current lockdown restrictions, and have to say she single handedly made our evening relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable , she clearly and concisely passed on the guidance and instructions in regards to the hotels Covid procedures and nothing was a problem and she was always on hand to help and assist in all our enquiries with a smile and a sense of humour, hotels need more Amys ! - lovely room and very comfortable night was had by all my team , thank you.
