  Faulty towers does better

  I booked 6 months in advance on the internet. I booked a 3 1/2 star family room with 1 queen and 2 singles. On arrival we were given the keys to a very dilapidated room with one queen bed. Not suitable for my son and I. When I enquired I was told the internet information was wrong... eventually a single bed was provided. The room leaked badly from a window near the bed and under the door and wall. When I told staff the floor was wet I was told they knew ... on day 3 of out visit a rubber backed mat was placed over it but the continued rain flooded over this. I was told they couldn't do anything as they were booked out, however their sign suggested there were vacancies. On departure I was offered a discount due to room condition, however now 2 weeks later they have charged my credit card for not only the discount but the deposit I paid 6 months ago! They have promised to reverse this.

  Great value

  Rooms really clean and comfy,warm comfortable beds,electic blankets, heaters Good food in bistro at reasonable prices...20 for 2 courses seniors deal.Roast was very good,vegies not overcooked...recommended

  Great place, Great people

  Lovely stay, was a last minute stop after a days worth of touring around the Tarkine drive. The room was clean with all the necessities for an overnight stay. I, unfortunately, drew the short straw and was left the trundle bed, this surprisingly was fine, I slept well. The staff were extremely nice and very accommodating. The food at the bistro was amazing! I ordered the mushroom risotto which was absolutely delicious. Would recommend for a lovely, affordable stay!

  Great Food

  We didn't stay at the hotel but stopped on the way through for lunch. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant leave a lot to be desired (mmm those pokie noises) but the food was really good! The potato skins were amazing, portions generous and the service was great! Thanks for saving some very hungry travellers.

  Tasmanian West Coast 2 night stay

  A great place to stay to explore the West Coast of Tasmania. Stayed here 2 nights to do the Gordon River Cruise that leaves from Strahan. Its only 1/2 hour down the road by car. Cradle Mountain is only 1.5 hours away too! The motel is spotlessly clean. We had the queen room. Lovely hot shower. TV worked well. We ate both nights in their dining room, and the food was great. Friendly efficient service. Couldnt fault it really! Recommended.
