  Nice but could do we a little refresh of decor

  Only stayed for one night, the dinner at the restaurant was delicious but the bedroom is a little outdated and could do with a little refresh. Comfortable beds and bathroom was clean. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Easy stopover on the way west of you cant make it further to places like Revelstoke.

  Heard everything upstairs

  This was motel style - not what I expected. Could hear kid(s) running around upstairs until very late. Didn't realize a time change as we came in from RevelStoke/Glacier so we missed dinner by a 1/2 hour and there is NOWHERE else to go eat. It was too late to drive into Golden. Room was dated. Choose not to partake in the breakfast buffet as there was little selection on it.

  Relaxing and clean!

  We really loved this lodge. Basic and clean room, great king bed, wonderful pillows and superb view! Dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent, a bit pricey but all considered no higher than anywhere else for a great meal. They also had a lovely harpist play during dining which made for a relaxing and most enjoyable evening. Highly recommend the buffalo short ribs, excellent! Later we tried the hot tub and it was very clean, had it to ourselves as well. Had we not been so tired from traveling there was plenty to do in the game room; also could have had enjoyed the firepit. Staff at the front desk were lovely and I hope to come back here someday. There was some road noise but it was a very high traffic time of year.

  Comfy bed, close to highway but quiet at night

  Comfy bed and very clean room and bathroom.Great smelling, organic Shampoo etc. From the Rockies for free use in the bath.Nice and modern furniture.Very nice staff.Close to Highway but very quiet at night.Awesome that you could open the window for fresh air- much better than the usual Canadian air- conditioning.Take care when you leave the Highway for the small road to the hotel and start blinking early- if there is a lot of traffic with trucks and people who are very fast and close behind you , it can geht very serious

  We showed up late on Friday night check in was super easy very friendly owners and staff even though they were closing up for the night right away they let us play pool and get a couple drinks room was very clean beds were amazing next time I will book a cabin to experience that thanks for a great weekend
