  This hotel is a little gem. Rooms are lovely food delicious. The staff are so friendly. A big massive thank you to nigel. He went out of his way to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant.

  Christmas Day Lunch

  Absolutely first class food and service, staff so friendly we had a lovely family meal will certainly be going back. Lounge for drinks before meal and a room for after meal to take coffee and mince pies. Superb.

  Birthday Celebration

  Booked this hotel for one night to attend a nearby Birthday celebration. Was surprised at the welcome we received on arrival. The staff welcomed us as if we were members of their family which made the long journey worthwhile. All the staff were friendly. The food was well prepared and enjoyable. The hotel was clean in all departments and no complaints with anything. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will return when we are again in the area. Thanks to all.

  Excellent for a short stay

  There is a distinct shortage of overnight accommodation in this area and this local Hotel/Restaurant more than fitted the bill. Room and service was first class. Room had all the facilities you could expect and more and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good We did have an evening meal and the soup and sweet was very good but the fish and chips a little disappointing. Would stay again

  Disappointing

  booked through expedia and cancelled within the booking terms and conditions but hotel is refusing refund despite the terms being 100% refundable. hotel claiming their terms are different to that on expedia. hotel has advised they're only offering alternative dates but as I cancelled they couldnt do this... essentially just keeping my money.
