  Unclean

  Positives include movies on demand, central location and early check in. I found our room to be entirely unclean, there was a layer of dust over most parts of the room. Really disappointed with basic things like a clean toilet bowl, cups and stains on pillows. The curtain was coming down (as pictured). Would not recommend staying here.

  best location!

  pros- location as it's right in the city centre, ocean views, less than 2 minute walk to the ocean, restaurants and shops/ woolies are at your doorstep, complimentary new release movie access from TV, modern facilities, friendly staff and daily room service (new towels/ soaps etc.). cons- non-sound proof rooms so you can literally hear everything (neighbouring rooms and noise from council carpark directly outside), if you have your own car you have to pay $10/night for parking and size of rooms considering the price you pay. overall, really glad we stayed here for 5 nights and would recommend to anyone who wants to be central/ near the beach :)

  Genuine service with a smile....and a high quality hotel room

  The service from Heart staff is genuine and professional. I arrived right on 8pm closing time but nothing was too much trouble for which allowed me to just enjoy being in the Whitsundays. Thankfully the location of the hotel is right in the middle of the Main Street of Airlie Beach and walking distance to everything from restaurants, to tour departure points. The staff local knowledge is great! The room presentation exceeds expectation, and the helpful housekeeping staff did an awesome job during my stay. The amenities are of high quality. It is by far, the best hotel I have stayed at in Airlie Beach.

  Review

  We spent 4 nights at Heart Hotel and our first impressions as we walked into a very spaciuos classy foyer with cathedral ceiling was wow this is great. Taking lift and walking into very wide corro dors and large open area which was the Gallery. We were impressed....but as soon as we opened the door to our Queen ocean view room we were completely astonished as it was like a shoe box. Room only big enough for a queen bed with narrow walking space around it. The balcony again so narrow if you stretched your legs out they would be sticking out over the balcony. Some nice high end touches which do not make up for the size and i would question when they state 'designer' it would actually mean 'compact'...conclusion..very over priced for what you get...location is good...bathroom compact but ok.

  Look elsewhere

  We had so many problems with maintenance and cleanliness. The shower creaked so loudly every time we opened it. We had to ask multiple times for our room to be cleaned due to mould and random brown marks. The female receptionist was rude and did not even offer an apology just possible reasons on how the marks could have got there. The only good thing about this place was the location and there are plenty of other places in the same area. Look elsewhere.
