  I recently spent 2 great nights at the Haynes B & B. Such a great location. Close to everything in the downtown, totally walkable. Great on the street parking, easy to find, comfy and well appointed room. The room was quiet, and I slept so well. I definitely plan to stay again and again.

  Better than hotel

  We have been staying at B&Bs for 25 years. If your priority is staying in down town Greensboro, this is for you. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi signal was good, the hostess was polite and the food was good. If this checks all your boxes, again this place is for you. It is down town. Consider using the earplugs supplied in the fruit basket (basket with a banana, an apple and two pair of ear plugs) to muffle the sirens. Uniquely in our experience our card was charged moments after we arrived. While she was charging our credit card I was required to fill out an authorization that included the card number to charge us after our stay for damages she deemed we caused, also unique for us. At our departure this prompted me to request that our room be inspected to retrieve the authorization in exchange for their the house key. All our interactions with Mrs Haynes had that transactional feel. I was informed the authorization would be shredded after she cleaned our room. If you are considering a B&B for the first time, like hotel chains and concerned this may be too homey or too personal, let me put your mind at ease. I think you will find your stay very familiar.

  Great location and beautiful rooms

  Lovely historic house located very close to the downtown and in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very tastefully decorated and not at all cluttered as is the case with some B&Bs. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

  was great, very clean and the owner is very nice. Would stay there again. Close to downtown ,within walking distance of restaurants clubs bars anything you want museums parks .The house has a nice outdoor porch to sit out on when it's nice outside.

  Perfect place

  This bed & breakfast was perfect! It is in a great location and the owners are both so sweet & helpful. I was leaving before breakfast time, so the Mrs. packed me some snacks for my morning. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area and I definitely recommend Haynes B & B!
