  Lovely place to rest your head

  A lovely place to rest your head for a night or two away on business. Cooked breakfast included which is a liberty these days! Lovely owners with a lovely dog so dog haters beware. Old fashioned decor but that is not a complaint as room spotlessly clean and comfy bed with working wifi, another liberty! Didn't try the TV. My only gripe is how noisy it was hearing those rooms around you, but this is probably due to the old building.

  Crufts visit

  We have just stayed here which is about 20 minutes away (depending on traffic) to the NEC where we went to watch Crufts. The lodge is a family home with a lovely dog wandering around. The family are hospitable and very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The rooms are a little dated and need light bulbs replacing but all in all this place is great value for money and convenient for the NEC. There are a couple of restaurants within a short walk which are reasonably priced and nice to visit.

  Homely stay

  Hay Lane Lodge is a great place to stay if you are working at or visiting the NEC, comfy and clean with everything that you need. Convenient nearby pubs for an evening meal and a very welcoming host. Although I did get divebombed by a jackdaw!

  Very Pleasant Experience

  Stayed here last night (3/6/19) and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences Ive had staying away for business. The proprietors were very polite, friendly, hospitable and accommodating. I arrived late than my scheduled check in due to train delays and it was not a problem at all - was even greeted with a pint after a very long journey! Would recommend to anybody starting in the area

  Good find

  I stayed here for 5 nights whilst on a course. Although I must admit the room was a bit date and would benefit from updating my stay was excellent. You could not want for better hosts. The first evening I went out to the local harvester and that was not very good so rather than go out searching and paying a fortune I had an evening meal in the b and b and have to say every meal was spot on and I even got a beer. Breakfast was lovely as well. I wouldn't,t hesitate to stay again if in the area.
