  I love it

  I love it here its deffently my favorite place to stay in wichita so far u get a full kitchen fire place cozy bed its like home away from home only nicer and less noisy and annoying i think the staff are nice and the breakfast is good and the its clean and the laundry rooms are clean too i love this place

  Falling apart

  First off, the employees: They were excellent and tried their best to help me have a better experience there. I stayed in the Hawthorne years ago and remember it being a pretty good place. Unfortunately it has gone downhill.. The place is seriously in need of a major structural overhaul. There are rotting eves, siding, everything seems to be rotting. The two rooms I saw did have new paint and decent furniture. But otherwise its falling apart. The first room I got smelled like a nasty ashtray. I requested a different room, and the guy on duty was very nice and helpful in getting me another. The second room didn't stink as bad, but did have an odor to it. I ended up checking out early and going to a different hotel for the remainder of my stay in wichita. I really hope that sometime this place can get the support it needs from the owners to get it back up to par.

  Better than expected.

  Opened up my Priceline AP while driving many hours... Was just needing a bed & a shower, so I booked a lower priced location. When I checked in and made my room, I was very pleased with how large my room was. Full kitchen, living room, and separate bath/restroom area.. After a comfy sleep, I went down to grab a coffee and check out.. Turns out, they had a super breakfast feast, with waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, etc.. Plus, the staff was happy and helpful.. Very very impressed with my low cost stay.

  Management is poor

  This place is falling apart and needs all new staff. Staff is all rude and when there is an issue they could care less. The owner of this property is out of state and does care. There are many other things I could say about this place but just I won't ever be back and will tell everyone I know to go somewhere else.

  Good Value, shabby property

  The rate thru AAA was a total of $60.69 for one bedroom suite. Good sized room. The room wasn't stellar, a couple of spots were spackled over, never sanded down or repainted. Lots of deferred maintenance evident, inside and outside. And because I paid with a debit card, they charged $150 for incidentals. Really??? Several other choices around this hotel, Fairfield Inn, Marriott...I would never bring my wife here. There was no hot breakfast buffet, No evening hors doeuvres at a weeknight social hour, but that might be covid related. No fireplace, no safe in the room.
