  Our Happy Place

  This was our 2nd visit to the apartments and it is a little bit of heaven on earth. We arrived at 3am and Manos greeted us asked us if we needed anything and showed us to our room.. They have a system if no staff are on site which is on their notice board to prevent confusion. We had what I would call the best apartment, Room 17 with views to die for, to wake up and look out over the bay is priceless. Our room sleeps 5 (there were 2 of us) there is a wrap around balcony so you can avoid the direct sun if you want to. this is a family run site and the whole family make you feel welcome from the start, they go above and beyond to make your stay as chilled and relaxed as possible. They have had many years to perfect this service and Money cannot buy the relaxed atmosphere and genuine friendly feel to the place. People come for the first time and they come back time and time again - that tells you something! The food is good especially bbq night and wood oven fired pork night and they do the clever thing of putting all the tables together so you get to mingle with everyone- they want you to feel apart of something and it works. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels twice a week. George has spent a lot of time renovating the pool and sun bed areas and the improvements are fantastic. There is a general feel of happiness about the place. They have worked their magic and we are hooked we will be coming back again and again (if they will have us) we have been so lucky in finding this little bit of heaven and we will not be letting it go.   Just back from our 4th visit to Havania Apartments. As on previous visits we have not been disappointed. If you have not read our previous reviews then to summarize, this is a very clean and we'll run family Apart Hotel. George, Katarina, Patricia, Manos and Joseph all go to great lengths to ensure you have a great holiday. The location is about 1.5 miles from Agios Nikolaos town. However there are a couple of Tavernas and a supermarket within 15 mins walk. You can eat at the hotel which cooks a special every day, cater for yourself using the kitchen in your accomodation or eat out. If you get the chance you must try the BBQ night. At 15 it is simply unbeatable value. Even a hungry hippo would be happy. !! Taxis to town are about 8 but with no real need to look at a watch you might want to walk 40mins. It's a very flat and beautiful walk. If you get the chance stop off at Taverna Stavros and meet Maria. Tell her you got info from David and Lorna. See what she says. Whether you are a couple or a family, young or old. The quiet and beautiful waterside setting of Havania offers spacious accomodation, genuine family friendship and the chance to meet some wonderful people. Thanks to all David n Lorna

  Excellent Place

  Many thanks to George, Patricia, Manos, Katalina, Maria and the rest of the family. Excellent well run accommodation with stunning sea views. Previously stayed at Helios 17 years ago and returned to this area. Not disappointed, food is good, the rooms are well equipped and the staff cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Wife pulled a muscle in her hip while in the pool and had reduced mobility for a couple of days. Meals where delivered to the room until she recovered. Many thanks. We will be back next year all being well. Highly recommended..

  A very special place

  We have just returned from Havania apartments, where we have enjoyed more beautiful sunrises than ever before. Like a many other guests we found George, Manos and all the rest of the staff very helpful. It is lovely to see a family working together so well. Everything is kept very clean and the views are spectacular. There is a nice pool and we enjoyed swimming off the pontoon when the conditions were right. We had few meals at the apartments and particularly enjoyed the BBQ night and lamb kleftico. As we had to change apartments half way through we have seen both one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. Both are spacious and comfortable but the one bedroom apartments was short on surface space in the kitchen. I actually do cook in self catering apartments as I enjoy cooking as well as eating out and the little ovens work really well but I am glad I had the foresight to bring a couple of aluminium containers to use in the oven there was only the full size tray to use. As we had a car to go the a large supermarket in Agios Nikolaos I could cook some good meals there. The second week we were in room 1 and this has the most wonderful view. I didnt mind if I woke early so I could see the sunrise It may be helpful for any gluten free guests to know the nearest super market stocks GF bread and a few other GF items. We can understand why many people return to these apartments and are considering coming again ourselves.

  Fantastic atmosphere

  this is a great family run business and this shows with fantastic service and a very welcoming feel, This is simply the most relaxing place I've ever visited..i have been here for the last 3 years and will definitely been booking again for next season.. with the covid 19 situation we did not know what to expect BUT the standards were as high as ever... George, Patricia and Katarina are the perfect hosts... P E R F E C T
