  Efficient staff.....super cleanliness!

  Stayed there February to April 2012....was impressed with the neatness and staff efficiency coupled with availability of bicycles to work out and also as a means of quickly reaching the city center...the remotely locked doors that allows easy access and finally a excellent Internet access.

  Helpful staff, charming hotel - lovely setting

  I stayed here 2 nights and initially disbelieved the SatNav that wanted me to go down such a small lane. I am quite used to such lanes in England but wasn't ecpecting one so relatively near the centre of Bonn. Anyway got myself to the hotel, there was lots of parking behind the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful - coping with my sum total of less than 10 words of German. Room was nicely decorated and furnished, with balcony overlooking terrace with tables, play area and gardens. Bed comfortable, WiFi easy to access and reliable, Double glazing meant room was quiet but huge door to balcony also gave lots of light. Shower room modern and well fitted out and clean, No hairdryer in room but via sign language one was quickly found. Would stay there again

  Second visit, lovely place

  I returned for a further 2 night stay and enjoyed it very much. One of the staff remembered me from last September - probably the problems of trying to speak each others language! There are few staff who can speak English and I can't speak German - but it doesn't matter and everyone was helpful and cheerful. The double aspect room was nice and clean and bright, the bed very comfortable and a good shower in the modern en suite. Wifi worked fine for me. The property is a bit hidden away and my satnav had its moments when the inevitable road works took me away from the route I remembered and sent me via a very obscure route - seeing parts of Old Bonn that I never expected to see - fortunately got there in the end. I had breakfast there which was fine - eggs, ham, cheese, rolls, yoghurt, croissants, jams, marmalades, cereals, tea, juice and coffee. There was a BBQ outside one evening, I didn't partake but it all looked v good.

  Enjoyable Stay

  Myself and a friend have just visited Gamescom in Cologne. With all the hotels nearby full, we decided to try our luck in Bonn and came across this lovely, quiet hotel. Neither myself nor my friend speak very good German however the staff were all helpful and friendly whilst conversing in English. We didnt have the pleasure of dining in the restaurant however the room was clean and comfortable. Very reasonable pricing for the two night stay including breakfast. Whilst on the first day (when we hadnt figured out the tram service) included a long walk from Bonn to Auerberg, we soon learned its very accessible via public transport. Very happy with the stay!

  no charm, very basic

  We rented a suite with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a small kitchenette. The room was clean and spacious. However, the decoration or lack of it made the place very plain. The mattresses were uncomfortable (U-shaped), the fridge made a disturbing noise and the kitchen is not that useful. Rooms located on the second floor (like ours) have no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. The staff is not very friendly. We stayed for two days and our room was not cleaned on the second day. Wifi was very slow. The restaurant's food is similar to microwave dishes you can get in a bad supermarket... The trees and garden are nice. I would not recommend it.
