  surprisingly good

  we visited friend's housewarming party and they suggested this hotel. surprisingly good, we are not expecting such nice hotel in the middle of no where. very friendly reception and nice breakfast. wish our stay would be a bit longer, we didn't have chance to enjoy the Sauna. Maybe next time.

  Wonderful Hotel

  I loved this little hotel! It has such a great atmosphere, and lots of areas to walk around with a dog. The people were all friendly, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the bed was comfy. I would definitely go back!

  3 night stay whilst on business,

  This hotel is very dated and tired it needs a lot of tender loving care in my opinion. Due to the nature of my business i had to check out everyday and then re book. The hotel I normally stay in was fully booked so this had to do. The room I stayed in the first 2 nights was very outdated and only clean to a minimally acceptable standard. I had to ask for shower gel the second night as this had not been replaced by house keeping. The room I had the third night was as equally outdated but the bottom sheet on the bed was appalling I have attached pictures of the corners of the bottom sheet but after a long 14 hour day working I could not be bothered to complain.also I found the extensions leads to be far from acceptable for any hotel i have attached pictures of these as well The food is average but the staff are very pleasant and friendly. This hotel is a distance from the center of Wesel so if you want to eat out in town you will need to take a taxi if you wish to have a drink. I will not stay here again even for one night.

  Perfect balance in price and quality

  We stayed here for one night as a stop over for a long weekend away to Mannheim. Location wise, it's easy to find, well and quietly located just outside Wesel. The reception when we arrived was helpfull, efficient and friendly. The room was nice, enough space and clean. The only thing lacking for us was a waterboiler with tea and coffee. The bar was nice, also very friendly people, and you can get a nice drink for a very low price. I was surprised on the size of the property. Breakfast was typically German style. Good quality, plenty of choices. In fact, the quality and choice of the breakfast was equal compared to a luxury hotel in which we spent 3 days in Mannheim. Also a plus point was the Internet connection, which was what can be expected from any hotel these days. Normal Internet usage is perfect here. You will not regret booking a oom here.

  Nice hotel, slightly outdated

  The suite we booked was great . It featured a separate bedroom, bathroom and living room with a dining table and chairs, sofas and a comfortable chair and a tiny balcony with two chairs. The bathroom is large and has a large shower. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. The advertised minibar is in reality a small fridge but that was okay. Since the hotel doesnt have a bar nor offers room service it came in handy. We were disappointed that the terrace in front of the garden opens only at 17:00. Before then, its of course possible to sit but sadly without service. Not what youd expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel decor was as expected; a little outdated but it fits in with the rest. Sadly the gardens around the hotel were a bit overgrown giving a shabby impression. The beds were very comfortable and because the suite has ample curtains, it made for a restful sleep. The hotel consists of a main building and outbuildings. The suites are in the main building but it looked like the rooms were in the outbuildings. Dogs are welcome at 9 per dog, per night. The hotel is located in the rural outskirts of Wesel, approx. 6-7 km from restaurants and bars and the Rheinpromenade.
