  Murder Mystery Night

  Attended the Murder Mystery night with my husband on the 11th September, this event was a first for us and can fully recommend to everyone. From start to finish the event staff were very professional. The venue, food and staff were amazing as always! It is always a great place to visit in Shifnal, which definitely deserves the recognition. We will be back very soon! :)

  Spa day and afternoon tea

  We have been here several times before and it has been reasonable. Todays visit was not good. We had afternoon tea booked for 3pm, we were given our food very quickly then the ladies left. We didnt see anyone for 40 minutes! In the end we had to go and find someone for the fondue. Normally they serve chips with the meal but no chips today! Apparently they dont do them anymore. The food what we had was nice but wed of preferred a choice of sandwiches not chef has made you a selection! The treatment we had was excellent so that was good. All in all I think we will have to find another venue!

  Lovely stay at Haughton Hall

  We enjoyed a night at Haughton Hall to have a change of scenery this half term and it didn't disappoint. The family room we had was spacious and clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, etc. We booked a session in the pool for the afternoon we arrived and next morning which was very welcome and the pool was nice and warm. We really enjoyed our cooked breakfast, catered well for the kids and vegetarian. We enjoyed a brief walk in the grounds and would love to return again, beautiful surroundings.

  Beautiful stay with amazing afternoon tea, dinner, breakfast and superb service!

  My partner and I stayed here Saturday night. Wed booked a voucher for afternoon champagne tea and decided to stay. When we arrived we upgraded to a suite. Cost us around £10 more and we had sky with sky sports. Room was absolutely massive. Had a great nights sleep. We used the swimming pool and gym, easy to book on and reserve a slot on line which was handy. All the food we had was beautiful and the service was fantastic throughout. Ill definitely be back. Had a lovely stay.

  Lovely Getaway

  We were in need of somewhere to go for a few days, so decided upon this hotel. Our decision was a great one. We stayed in the The Boardroom suite, which was utterly gorgeous! Such a clean suite and super spacious. Small downside that the plug for the kettle doesn't work, so we had to move the kettle to a different room, which was such a small inconvenience. We also didn't have our room cleaned during our stay, which was 4 nights, but again that didn't really bother us. We had use of the leisure facilities, which you need to book before using due to Covid. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. There were signs throughout the hotel and leisure facilities and at no time did we feel unsafe or concerned about the virus.Side note that this is the only time we've gone away this year and we did not feel like these impacted our time away in the slightest. This was our first time staying at this hotel, and we spoke to the staff about the difficulties they've faced. Please do take some time to speak to the staff, you may find it frustrating that staff aren't at your beck and call during your stay/visit, but they are full-filling multiple roles with a smaller work force at current. A little bit of patience and kindness goes a long way. The first night we ate within the hotel and the food was gorgeous, well presented and friendly staff. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It's in a wonderful area and is well situated for those wanting to explore and do some local sightseeing.
