  Nothing special, far from everything

  The rooms were comfortable enough but nothing special. The wifi didn't stretch to my room because it was "in a corner". The Irish pub was empty every night, but fun anyway! It's not in a great location. The roads around it are very quiet and it's a bit of a walk to either old or new town. Despite the really lovely staff, I wouldn't stay again.

  Our preferred accommodation in Melaka

  had been staying in HHH for many times. though this is merely a budget hotel, the service from the staff never fail to disappoint us. in particular, one of the staff there name : Molly (whom we have taken a photo of her) she has always given us a very warm welcome whenever we made a return visit. there is a new staff @ reception now, her name is Nur. (photo also taken) She is a very friendly staff too and never make us feel unwelcome at all in all our stay there. The rooms are clean & quiet enough to have a good night sleep each time we are there (although there is a pub on the 1st level) We will not hesitate to come back here to stay when we visit Melaka again!

  A little bit of a walk

  This hotel is located a short walk from attractions- maybe 15mins. We stayed as part of a tour group and we found the hotel to be adequate. Nothing fancy but bathroom was clean. The bedding was not fantastic and could use an upgrade. There was only a bottom sheet and a blanket. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the gentleman on the front desk spoke perfect English, he advised that he had lived in Canberra Australia for a few years.

  Functional

  This might not be your first choice and if you are caught in such a situation or if you are in a budget, then this will serve the purpose. Location is not too bad. Closeby is the 2 shopping Malls and about 10 to 15 minutes away you have mist of the attractions. Even Jonker is pleasant walk by the river, about 15-20 minutes, with plenty of things to keep you occupied. Simple room but with clean toilets.

  Cheap, comfortable and excellent location

  This hotel was ecatky what we were looking for. It was close to the attractions and amenities we sought to explore. It's on a quiet street away from the main street. Coffee shops, launderette, ATM and restaurants nearby. Our room, like the rest of the hotel was exceptionally clean. 24 hour front desk allowed us to check in shortly after midnight. Strong AC, finicky, wifi in the evenings, and plenty of hot water for showers with good water pressure. Free drinking water, iron and board available for guests and hairdryer. As a budget traveler and backpacker I can't complain. The staff were very polite and interactive. I don't recommend this place though for anyone with mobility issues as there is no elevator/lift and the stairs are fairly steep and tiring. Also as many backpackers if you're looking for a more social setting this wouldn't be ideal however if your looking for a quiet place to relax I highly recommend this hotel.
