  Good place, not so good service

  The hotel is near to the centre and cableway. Hotel was clear, newly accomodated. Staff was pleasant and qualified. We payed half board - not bad but lower level, not big menu choice, not so tasty for me. We had a problem with heating. There was cold and the staff didn´t want to solve it even if we had a little baby. Also the pool was very cold (about 18°C, not as they promised 26°C) and whilpool out of order so we could not use them. We were dissapointed. But the nature is really beautifull.

  Review Winter (feb) 2012

  Hotel is basic, based on the name and the 4* it should be a luxery Hotel. But the dining room is smuggy, employees are not friendly. When i walked to the receptiondesk the lady had a private phonecall and let me wait for over 10 minutes. This is an example for the friendly treatment. the room had a huge flat screen TV but there was a very poor connection so it had no use. Our kids found a pair of glasses, toys and a small bottle of liquir in the room, tooth paste of previous guest was on the wall. this as example of the 'detailed cleaning'. Simmilar to the dining room the rooms are also a bit smuggy with early 80' design. We booked including dinner but we went out for dinner in the village after our first ' dinner' because the quality was poor. So do not expect too much and use the hotel for sleeping only.

  Wellness-Sport-Family Hotel Harrachovka also great for a romantic weekend for two

  Older spaceful and very clean hotel in the middle hikers visited town Harrachov 3km far away from the polish boarder. Dinner perfect with traditional czech couisine, our breakfast was not much choice but sufficient, very helpful and pleasant staff. This hotel has a nice cozy swimming pool but fitness was horrible, but otherwise sporting opportunities in the countryside all around, as well as the possibility of a trip to nearby Poland, for example, or mushrooming or in winter abundant skiing.

  Big disappointment

  We have been to Harrachovka several times and we were happy to return. However, the visit in the middle of July 2020 was our last. Untidy room, dirty bathroom (remnants of toothpaste on the sink), rusty container for liquid soap, dark and unwashed towels, crepe - unironed bedding, non-functioning refrigerator, lamp directly behind the window without the possibility of shading (only translucent orange curtains). In cold summer without heating, in the room only one thin blanket per person. And staff without willingness to deal with anything. Instead of three days, we left the so-called hotel after one night.

  No hot water and mouse in room

  On the past 2 days no hot water was available after we returned from skiing in the afternoon. What do you most want after a day on the chilly slopes? A hot bath. This hotel did not provide hot water. We heard and saw a mouse in our room My attempt to draw the attention of the manageress to these problems was met with indifference and even blatant lies (manageress claimed there are a lot of guests in the hotel, when actually it is only about half-full, the receptionist who went to confirm the absence of hot water in our room yesterday now claims he felt 'warm not hot' water, which is not true, it was tepid at best). Breakfast is dreary, the coffee is tasteless. Children's play room is very tired looking and untidy. The only redeeming feature is the cheerful and helpful restaurant staff. For 200 EUR per night, we should not have to tolerate such inadequacies.
