  Great experience in a stunning location with friendly hosts

  We had a lovely stay in one of the cabins, a few steps from the stunning beach. The cabin was spotless, with all kitchen gear. Very modern. Beautiful bathroom. Jill and her husband are lovely hosts. A place I recommend.

  Perfect trip

  We spent 2 days in Harpers on the Beach and it was great. On our first day we hiked before the check in and were greeted with cookies and hot beverages in the room, dinner came to us shortly after. The food Jill cooks is amazing. My husband is vegan, Im pescatarian, and we both loved our meals. Next day was sunny, we enjoyed our breakfast in the room and went out for a morning at White Beach. Highly recommend doing a boat cruise nearby, we saw many whales. We stayed at the Beach Studio, great kitchen setting, comfy bed and couch. Super clean.

  Homely feel, top location, excellent hosts and real value for money

  We stayed in the beach studio -30m from the water! ( a converted double garage in a former life). Very comfortable and had all facilities including cooking if required. We opted for the meals, dinner and breakfast, delivered to your room by hostess (and cook), Jill. All were above expectations with all local produce used ( vegetables from their own harden on site.) Now that is truly local! Parking was on site in a locked remote controlled gate and high fence. . The whole experience was one of the hi lights of our visit to Tasmania. I highly recommend Harpers on the beach

  Pleasant B&B

  A lovely and charming B&B right on the beach. Jill was a great host and served an excellent breakfast. Everything was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. The only way it couldve been better is if there would be an option to have breakfast at 7. The earliest they offer is 8AM, which is a bit limiting but overall its only a minor nitpick.

  The Best B&B in Tasmania

  We loved Harpers on the Beach! Not your average bed and breakfast at all! We stayed in the Beach Studio with private deck area and twenty feet to the absolute white sand beach. An awesome whale murial on one wall. Full mini bar, espresso coffee machine etc. Breakfast was excellent especially the Birchler muesli and fresh berries plus yummy home made lemon marmalade from their lemon tree and the best tomatoes I have ever tasted. Jill and John were the perfect hosts, not intrusive but always available. Finally the dinner on our last night will be always remembered for the ambience and extraordinary cuisine from masterchef Jill, served in the main house's elegant dinning room. All the organic veges straight out of the garden, little new pink eyed potatoes (first time) to die for and fresh caught blue trevalla followed by rhubarb crumble and blueberry ice cream for dessert!! Great conversation with other guests. We'll be back.
