  Terrible booking advice from the owner

  Firstly let me start by saying I never actually got to stay in this accommodation because the owner messed up our booking so this is a review of the terrible booking arrangements and not of the accommodation itself. I discovered the property on activehotels.com and at the time Harman Suite 2 was available. As I needed a little more information about check in times I email the owner before making the booking. The owner replied to say that I could check in at any time but that instead of booking through the website I should book directly with him and pay cash on arrival. I replied to confirm my booking immediately. (I'd like to point out that at this point the availability was still there on activehotels.com) 5 days later I received an email from the owner to say sorry but the suite was no longer available!!! Extremely extremely annoying as we were now left with no accommodation for New Years Eve and if we had booked through the internet instead of taking the owners advice then we would have been ok. Very unprofessional.

  Bijou home from home!!

  Compact 1 bed apartment, or converted garage to the back of the owners property. Situated in a quiet residential area, 10 minutes to buzzing Leeds nightlife. Parking available outside house on road. All the amenities you need including oven, washer, Cd player and free Wi-Fi find. Clean, simple and with a great shower!!. Needs a little tlc in some areas but overall good standard in a great location. I stayed here over 7 weeks whilst on business. No problems!! Owners are lovely too. Highly recommended to most individual s but would be cramped with more than 2 adults.

  Average for one night.

  Stayed in room 2 for one night whilst on business with my wife. This is a small room with everything crammed into a space about 18 feet by 18 feet. This needs communicating on the info as the focus is on the larger room 1. We were only there for one night so didn't matter immensly but it is a shock when you first go in!! Room was well equipped and the owners were friendly and brought us hot drinks on arrival.

  Thankfully just briefly there

  The owners were lovely, can't fault them as people. However, there was no way that words like spacious can be thrown around with respect to these apartments. The bedroom in the "3 person" flat has barely enough room to move around, and that continues throughout the building. If you have three people in the kitchen area, there is no room to spare! In theory, the sofa turns into a bed, but it would barely accomodate a child under the age of 10, because there just isn't the room for a proper sized sofa bed, it is scadalous to advertise this a 3 person building, it frankly isn't. As I said, the owners are lovely and a quick walk (2 minutes) down the hill takes you to a bus stop with plenty of buses into Leeds city centre. That said, I woulnd't stay here again.

  Small and homely

  We stayed at Harman suites one night for Leeds festival, the room is very small but homely. It fits two people, a bit snug but it was adequate for our needs. Everything is spoptlessly clean and Mrs Singh is very welcoming and hospitable, lovely lady. She gave us sweets on arrival and showed us where everything was, assuring us that she was close by should we need anything. The room is well equipped with everything that you might need for a short stay, with cooking facilities a fridge and even a washing machine. It could probably do with updating a little but that didn't detract from anything at all. Lovely, quiet residential area, a short cab journey to the city centre.
