  Great hotel find in Ilfracombe

  Spent three nights at the Harcourt for a long weekend. John and Kirsty were so welcoming and friendly, always on hand to answer questions about the local area and give tips etc. The hotel was spotlessly clean and beds so comfortable ! Lots of options at breakfast. Great location for bars, restaurants, parking etc. Their Covid measures are spot on and I felt entirely comfortable during my stay. Would thoroughly recommend!

  What a find!

  Wanted to stay in Ilfracombe and this was the only hotel in the centre of town with availability so we booked. What a lucky find!!! This is the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in anywhere. Comfortable, spotlessly clean with an excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Kirsty and John who bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Fantastic location right in the centre of town easy access to coastal path. There are great facilities too, WiFi throughout, a bar with great views and even earplugs and sleep masks! We will definitely return as we often travel to North Devon....can't wait for our next trip!

  Great value

  Excellent little guest house & great value! Lovely owners & very hospitable & friendly. Room lovely & clean & breakfast was plentiful & excellent. Only negative was size of bed but we are used to bigger, but nonetheless very comfortable - would return!

  Centrally situated

  Very nice centrally situated hotel, within a few minutes walking distance of most restaurants, harbour and high street. Will definitely visit again when the restrictions ease off as a lot of the attractions were closed.

  Cracking little hotel

  Stayed here a few times over what has been a very peculiar summer for everyone. My children and I have always been welcomed with open arms and always been made to feel special. The rooms are a delight and l struggle to explain just how spotless they are. The children reckon that their mother should take a leaf out of Kirstys book!! Breakfast is five star excellent, with a massive choice. Covid 19 has spoilt the summer for a lot of people, but not here. Every precaution has been taken to the highest level and we all felt more than safe. I really cant recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly award double stars if I could. We are going to visit again next week and we cant wait. Well done all at the Harcourt. D.
