  Peaceful, lovely setting!

  This chateau is located beautifully in the countryside in the Loire Valley. This is a great place to stay if you are looking to relax by the pool and stroll around the property while enjoying the horses in the fields. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious. It appeared to me that they were in the process of renovating some of the other rooms, but it was not a distraction during our stay. The pool is lovely and wonderful to relax by. They have a tennis court in the back, but it is a mess and looks to have not been used in years. The staff was very professional and helpful. There is not much in the nearby town, but there are a few nice restaurants.

  Excellent value for families especially

  The location of the stud farm is excellent and for horse lovers, a real treat. We really liked the pool and the play ground for the children. Our room was really spacious. The staff is really welcoming and seems to be one family.

  Disappointed

  We stayed here for one night , on approaching it seemed very grand but we found it quite empty and no atmosphere at all . The internet was hit and miss and nothing to do in the area , most disappointing!

  Peaceful

  We stayed for 2 nights in room 6 on the first floor. The hotel is deep in the countryside but Google maps got us there - the car park is a decent size and a short walk from reception. We arrived late afternoon and were offered a cold plate for supper - smoked fish or mixed meats or cheeses - very good indeed! There is no restaurant in the hotel and nothing nearby so this is a good option, available Sunday to Thursday only... For anything else a drive to La Flèche is required. Breakfast was quite nice though the coffee comes from a machine which I did not like. The room was very spacious and the bed was first class. The bathroom was also large, with twin hand basins, a good bath and a separate shower (bit small and no tray for toiletries). There is a TV but only French channels. WiFi is free but we could only find a connection in the lounge area, nowhere else. At night there is not a sound to be heard so a peaceful night is in store ... We enjoyed our stay and will very likely come again next year.

  Peaceful stay

  Wow what a gorgeous place! We visited here for 2 nights (2 adults, 2 children) and had a gorgeous room for the family, breakfast was yummy, the views are breathtaking and the staff are so helpful. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to come back.
