RecomendableHabitacion comoda, elegante y limpia.

WARNING- DO NOT BOOK HERE. Worst holiday experience ever.My decision to book at this disgrace of an apartment proved to be one of worst decisions Ive made. It is rather ironic it is called Happy Holiday in Rome, when in reality it is the most unhappy interaction Ive had on holiday ever. As soon as my flights were booked- this was a present for my girlfriends birthday I told the property we would be arriving late from the UK. They approved this late check in. I then filled in an online check in form which again was approved for us arriving late. Que the day we arrived. The apartments are in a horrible run down area of Rome, with very little nearby. The apartments are very difficult to find and are in a building with other services and houses- there is a tiny sign which is easy to miss. You need a key/ pass code to enter the main gate- of course we received neither as the host- the worst Ive ever experienced, didnt bother to reply to a single one of my emails. Thankfully a russian couple were able to let us in. When we reached the apartment door, it was locked. For somewhere which apparently hosts 24/7 reception as I was assured, I found this bizarre. We tried phoning the host. No answer. We emailed. No answer. An Italian couple who also criticised the host managed to speak to her and gave us a number not listed online or ok the door. She spoke to us like absolute dirt, reduced my girlfriend to tears, and then worst of all threatened to phone police if we didnt leave. Its woerh beating in mind we had waited over two hours outside apartments before able to speak to the host. This is after I spent hundreds, and all because I asked why she couldnt check us in- despite it being agreed. So at 2 am in a foreign country, we were left stranded, homeless in an isolated and rough part of a city we had no clue how to navigate. Fortunately my sister back home in the UK found a hotel nearby where we stayed for the night, and after that we had to find a new hotel altogether. This experience ruined my trip. Although I am being reimbursed, I feel it is my duty to warn fellow travellers DO NOT BOOK HAPPY HOLIDAY IN ROME. Other guests in the complex have revealed they also had problems with her, whilst if you look at reviews on booking.com, her true nature is revealed. DO NOT BOOK with this disgraceful apartment, and do not give any money to the disgraceful and vile host.
