FULL OF PROMISERooms were very poor and inadequate, no complimentary tee or coffee , One air con remote for 3 rooms , which was controlled by main desk , bath room needed decorating, the shower was uncontrollable , either too hot or too cold,in the bed room the curtains needed washing , most of the plug sockets were faulty and the lighting constantly flickered..The Breakfast was pathetic , one croissant , dry Swedish toast . A non descriptive juice drink and cold coffee, in 50 years of travelling the worst i have ever experienced , the staff stood and watched in case you took more , even to the point they actually served you with your one croissant. The Restaurant was never opened , they set a table if you wanted to bring in a takeaway., The swimming pool was hardly accessible, the two days we managed to use it , they wanted to charge us 60 euros. This Hotel is basically an add on to a Wedding event location in a out of the way back lane , which is probably handy for all the local hookers who line the streets around this area . been coming to napoli for some 60 years as i have family locally , too many of us to put on them , but wont ever stay at Happy Days again

OMG!!Where do I start! This holiday has been the worst I have ever had... It's built in the middle of no where they have no roads so your trapped in the hotel with over priced food no Taxi. The staff don't speak any English and look like there are money grabbers who don't give two ***** about you.. The train station is 40 mins walk with no pavement. The train station is 14 stops to Naples.. On the station it's full of African immigration with tons of hookers very dangerous.. The meal in the hotel is over priced and they keep putting secret prices on the meal I.E Bread and wait for it Napkin Charge! Please if your English avoid this hotel like the plague! Ohh yes there's no beach it's not look after with rubbish and buildings falling down... The sea you wouldn't put your tiny finger in..No hire of bikes like it said in the website and the pool is out of bounds it's used for the Weddings that they have everyday I was there.. This hotel should be looked at very intensely by holiday watchdogs and taken down from English websites and last on the list is Wifi it doesn't work so your trapped in the hotel with no Wifi it looks like it's on a timer? It goes of every couple of minutes very slow and weak and you can't watch any movies or music on it..No English speaking TVs channels on the television..

NowhereIt's in the middle of nowhere, could not find it. Once found the place it badly needs modernization, on they website they say they have a pool and the map shows not far from shops and bars well lets put it this way : the pool it's not theirs and can only use with a fee if they have no events ( this should be taken off from their website they use it to attract people ) there is no way you can walk down the shops as no sidewalk available and it is very dangerous, the way you can go out take a taxi or get a car. The balconies have nothing for you to sit on and very dirty and lets no talk about the food : the breakfast was very poor with no choice for those on diabetes and the dinner the same very poor no choice you just get what you are given whether you like it or not and again no alternative if you must eat differently due to diabetes/cholesterol or whatever and it should be a variety also no fruit witch is a must just the worse place I have been. Will never go there again......but thanks to Pino, Michele the limousine and Renato they were really nice.

# AVOID #On arrival we thought it looked nice and grand. We had dinner on the 1st night in a packed restaurant, which was a good sign to us. Next morning we didn't make it down for breakfast as we were tired from travelling the night before and breakfast as @ 8am. The man on reception was rather accommodating as he made us a coffee when we got up. We decided to go for a walk to find a shop, which ended up being over a mile on a very busy road with no footpath. The road was filthy with dirty nappies and household waste. To get to the beach it was another mile on a main road. Dinner that evening, we were told to be ready for 8.30pm. We went down no choice on offer, pasta for starter and main course was beef with the sauce poured over it and about 6 diced potatoes on the side. No dessert offered even through it said it on the website. Next morning went for breakfast what a disappointment. 1 croissant, classic toast (small bread) and a coffee, again not a buffet breakfast which it said on the website and the pictures shown on the website. No food served anywhere in the hotel until dinner time. Breakfast @ 8AM dinner and 8. 30pm, 12hrs between meals. We bought drink from the bar which was 2 years out of date (3 out of our 4 drinks out of date). We went to the pool and got told it was out of service but would be ready in 2 days, this was not the case, we got told we couldn't use it. No one else in the hotel apart from us, walking around trying to find something to do and to eat but nothing was available. The man on reception give us a number to a taxi to take us to Naples, he said he is cheap 40. So we booked it, on return the taxi man charged us 250. Naples is only a 40km round trips from the hotel. We spent all the next day looking for another hotel and we have found one, which is great and we would highly recommend it to anyone hotel La Costiera. Hotel Happy Days PLEASE AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
