This place was not hotel, but accomodationC1 ( 2013. 3 29 ) There was not hotel, but accomodation. This resort was used student's school field trip, mountain climber or company workshop because resort's surrounding facility was only mountain trail. This resort building was old, air conditioning and heating was central control. There was very dry, so I couldn't sleep comfortable. There was s small sauna facility, outdoor sports fields and indoor facility ( billiards, PC room etc. )

A second honeymoonMy wife and I enjoyed 4 nights at the Han Wha Resort. We understood this is a Korean style resort, with rooms similar to a Japanese ryokan. That means roll-out futons on heated floors, rather than framed beds. We hiked around the surrounding mountains, as much as the winter snow cover allowed. There are traditional restaurants on the property, such as a lovely little place with a thatched roof. In our case we came with a large group, so usually ate at a generous buffet downstairs. It offered both western and Korean style food with each meal. Yes, the place could use some sprucing up. It's very clean, but could use some new paint, etc. The hot water ran a little short, on some evenings, (Harsh winters! The 2018 Winter Olympics will be nearby.)

Recommended one!!it is really nice place to stay in out of the city of Seoul. Take 1,5 hours by Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The place has its own best attractions in Winter, however for a summer vacation is also a good option to stay..

We liked itWe were taken here. I doubt if we could find it ourselves since our Korean is non-existent and so is their English. But we were pleasantly delighted. We didn't have a hotel room so much as a holiday home, with a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen/dining area complete with utensils and basic crockery, and a bathroom. The rooms are very very spacious, and since we visited in spring, when it was still quite cold, we appreciated the heated wooden floors! And because one slept on Japanese-style tatami on the floor, it was deliciously comfortable. There is a kind of a modest supermarket on the premises, so that one could get essential foods and ladies' stockings if one needed to. Breakfast was not included in the price, but it is entirely OK since one could easily make one's own in the kitchen. It is on spacious grounds, but we left in a hurry the next day so there was not enough time to look around. We appreciated our night there.

Good venue for group workshopFacility is quite old but view from room is very nature friendly. Meeting rooms are neat and clean, comfortable to have team workshops. But public bathroom is awfully stinky and dark. Restaurants which outdoor bbq and breakfast buffet are satisfying. Have enough room to make good memories with team members.
