  big chip on shoulder

  the hotel is ok but if the front desk is a) not the brightest b) not the friendliest and c) has a big chip on their shoulder, i would not recommend going there. luckily we only stayed for a weekend and were able to move around the corner to a much nicer hotel where you are treated properly, professionally and with respect. won't stay there again and can't recommend it.

  Convenient to sin city and harbor, sketchy area

  Positive first: well located close to the Reeperbahn area, which can be fun, but is definitely sketchy in some areas. Comes with the territory if you want to see interesting characters and do some people watching. Also close to the harbor. Facilities very clean and safety in the Hotel not an issue. Negatives: when I stopped in before reserving on Hotels.com to find out if there was available parking, the receptionist said they did not participate in any online booking which is obviously not true. Their parking was full, but decided to stay anyway, as the rate was same as online, the receptionist was accommodating, and we had already found convenient free street parking nearby (which could be difficult according to some other reviews).

  Good location and service. But!

  This hotel is location in the middle of all the action nightlife wise, which also means you cannot sleep with the windows open cause of noise from people on the street to the early morning and that is a huge problem in the summer as the rooms are NOT air-conditioned. Rooms are spacious and clean. But the standard is not high enough for the price you pay. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is really good. Hotel also have underground parking for 10 a night, this is very convenient and a fair price. So all in all you should stay here for the location.

  Great hotel

  Great, friendly clean hotel in an ace location. The room was massive and really quiet, considering how close the clubs and bars are. Beds comfortable after a long day walking, drinking and eating. Breakfast good. Nice and close to the harbour and lots of nightlife nearby or a quick taxi away.

  Bad service

  After rebooking this hotel for Decembdr due exhibition postponement they charged for the 4 nights originally booked In September anyway. After discussing this with the hotel they kept on meeting the situation without solution. After negotiating with Booking.com who would refund commission they still didnt provide any sign of a future business collaboration. I have not stayed at this hotel nor will i due this bad customer service by e-mail.
