  In one word: Great

  Very Nice staff and wonderful place to book a trip to Sapa or halong bay, very good price and When canceled, you will get a refund. Rooms are Nice and clean. Location on the eastside of old quarter, close to the spot where it is happening

  A back packer hotel

  We were traveling in family and was very disappointed by the quality of this hotel compares to the description. It's ideal for younger traveler. However the tourist information was very helpful. They even advice us a higher standard hotel nearby.

  ideal place, brilliant value and wonderful staff.

  i have been meaning to write a review for this place for some time, having stayed there in April 2014 this is a bit overdue! Start off by telling you I was travelling with a friend around vietnam for two weeks and this was by far the best value for money place we stayed in. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, we didnt ever have one issue with the hygiene. The star rating of this hotel I would give it a two/three star, comparing the rooms to the premier inns in the UK (maybe better to be honest)! The price of the hotel was excellent, in vietnamese terms you could definitely find somewhere cheaper to stay but the value for money you get here is not comparable! For about 4 dollars a night, including a good selection of buffet dishes for breakfast including fruit, pancakes, rice, toast and others. However the real gem in this place is 100% the staff. Often in Asia you may find their selling techniques to be quite pushy (particularly when compared to the UK style) but these guys were just excellent. They gave you a map, circled areas of interest for us, told us tips on the best places to go and cheapest ways to get there. When it came to tourist attractions (such as a trip to sapa or halong bay) the owner/manager listened to all the specification me and my friend required, made some calls and arrangements in order to make this happen for us and at no extra cost. We only had limited time in hanoi and their effort ensured us we got to experience north vietnam/hanoi to the best we could! In the halong bay trip they organised for us, we could only stay for one night but we didnt want to stay overnight on the boat (we wanted to stay on cat ba island which in most packages you can only do if you are on a 2 night trip) but he made it happen, organised a hotel on cat ba island and actually showed us the hotel online so we knew it wasn't a dive. This all at no extra cost - which by the way included free dinner and breakfast on cat ba. He also spoke to us about his heritage there, the cultural values and where he was from - bits about his family. Just very personal and friendly. If i could sum up the experience here in a sentence, it would be ideal location, great value, wonderful friendly staff and an ideal stay in the centre of hanoi.

  Cheap and cheerful

  We actually booked in over the road at the hostel but were told that our private room was in the hotel. Not ideal as we wanted to meet some fellow travellers, but c'est la vie. The hotel was good value for the price and we slept well enough, although the walls are thin. The breakfast was okay too.

  Value for money

  Considering the price this is a good hotel. Clean and space rooms and easy to reach. If you are in the area it is worth the stay. Don t expect anything fancy or gym etc. solid hotel however you may need a translator to communicate with the staff. Even though the officially accept credit cards you better have the cash with you
