  For the 8th time...

  ...we've stayed at Hannah Lodge, kind of a ritual when travelling from Johannesburg to Kruger Park. So more words are not really necessary I guess...if it wouldn't be great we wouldn't return again and again...Only thing is that we miss some familiar faces from the past, to bad that they apparently left...

  A huge disappointment

  We stayed at the Hannah Lodge for one night. The lodge is located in a beautiful area, and you can see nothing but nature. No noise - only the sounds of birds and insects. Really a wonderful location. All rooms are in small chalets. Nicely furnished, but no air condition. The bed is very soft. Coffee and tea making facility available in the room. The lodge has a small swimming pool, but the water was not clean. The restaurant only served a buffet dinner, which was of okay quality. Breakfast was also buffet style. The staff were unattentive and seemed eager to get customers out of the restaurant. During breakfast the staff started singing and went to all the tables begging for money. This is the first time we have seen the hired staff at a hotel begging. Officially, the lodge is a 4-star hotel, but should be 3-star (max.)! Not to be recommended, unfortunately.

  Thanks a lot

  Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great. We enjoyed our stay very much. The safari trip in the morning was a little disappointing, because no animal showed up. But this is as everyone knows always a matter of luck. ulrike&Frank

  Great hotel, pity you cannot access the game farm

  The hotel is perfectly perched on a hill with great views of the farm. The cottage we stayed in is large and comfortable. Staff in the hotel very friendly and dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The real downside is that we had no opportunity to access the game farm. The only viewing allowed is on the road to the hotel and the only game drive available was on the morning we left. Hard to imagine visiting a game farm if you are not able to use the opportunity to see what the farm has to offer. Speaking to some of the trainee rangers, clearly a lot.

  one of the best places I have ever been to

  I would love to come again for holiday with family.The place just takes your mind off every stress related issues its actually a place to retreat and rejuvenate and reinvent yourself. Definitely I have recommended it to friends and family
