  Don't even think about it!

  Okay, so, I have a lot to say so let's make it possible for everyone to read without too much TLTR. The beach: positive: ZERO negative: lots of hedgehogs, like lots of them, don't even think about going in without proper footwear. the sea itself is very restless, impossible to swim. very dirty. big rocks, no sand whatsoever. you have to pay for beds, 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella will cost you 7 euros, and you have to get up at 7 in the morning to book them and even then is not sure that you'll actually be able to find free spot. The hotel: positive: the staff is very friendly and nice. some of them speak Serbian so if you're from Ex Yu countries it will be useful. in the building of that hotel, there's a coffee shop or something like that, two guys working there are awesome, they make great coffee and are in general super friendly. FOOD, in general okay, there's no much to choose from, for let's say 1 star hotel amazing, for 4 star hotel NOT EVEN CLOSE. negative: dear God! dirty, smells terrible, NO DOCTOR, again, NO FREAKING DOCTOR. our friend had a situation, her daughter, 5yo, stepped on used needle. the doctor refused to give her a tetanus shot, they had to beg him after we waited for him for like 1,5h to even come cause it was weekend, and you know, it's normal not to work on weekends! SMH!!!! small rooms, bad AC, they don't clean well, changing sheets once in 3 days. Overall, please, I'm begging you, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE! Not just this hotel, the entire city is terrible, some places were cool, but all in all it's a waste of everything. We (3 of us) paid 1700 euros in total, for that amount of money we could have, and should have gone to Turkey for example and enjoy the hell out of our vacation! Greece, never again! ps. If you go there, be aware of ladies from monastery that are walking around. they'll offer you some stuff to buy, when/if you refuse, they will start shouting and almost try to hit you. stay way from this place.

  4 stars hotel???Seriously??

  Everything on the pictures,i think is from 10years ago.This is a shame for 4stars hotel.If you go all inclusive,you'll have sunbads,if you pay for half-board,you don't get sunbads,there is no wi-fi,there is no parking.For the parking you should pay 15 euros per day,even if you pay for all inclusive.15!!Higiene is not on the satisfied level either.

  Terrible hotel

  It is "ranking" like 4 star hotel. On which condition??? Yes rooms have windows and doors, rest is terrible!!! Do not spend money on this hotel. In Chanioti is more hotel which is better. Food is good but for three star hotel.

  Dirty Hotel Not a 4 star

  So i have lots to say lets start with positives... Location is amazing for families lots to do in the small town wonderful restaurants and good cocktail bars. The hotel is dirty unkempt and needs a lot of work to become a 4 star, this hotel is more of a 2 star. The hotel smells of damp and generally filthy. The staff are miserable.The manager is unkind i approached him about the food however his answer was it was not up to my standard. Firstly the rooms are not clean the bathroom is full of grime simple things like exchanging clean glasses are not done at all, you are expected to wash them yourself. we paid for half board however the food is vile and on most cases you are unable to eat what is on offer for example the buffet style restaurant is very minimal and meat is generally under cooked so there is blood or over cooked so its dry, the fish is over cooked the salad bar is rubbish. There is not enough choice. WIFI is charged daily. Sun loungers for guest are charged at 7 euros a day parking is 15 Euros a day Frappes are charged at 2.50 euros were everywhere else it is 1 euro. We choice to eat out most evenings as we couldn't handle the food. The tiny swimming pool is very dirty and it has broken bits in it, my children got an infection. Overall i wouldn't waste my money on this supposed hotel.i wished i hadn't booked half board as we ate out so much that we paid for food that we could not eat. You are better off getting a self catering apartment its very cheap to eat out and eat very good quality food, the location was amazing. I would return back to haniotis but book a self catering apartment.

  Very bad experiance with staff, room, etc..in Grand Otel

  Room in which we stay is very bad and dirty with mold?! The hotel is dirty unkempt and needs a lot of work to become a 4 star (On which condition??? This is a shame for 4 stars hotel.), this hotel is more of a 2 star. The hotel smells of damp and generally filthy. The staff are miserable. WIFI is charged daily.Do not spend money on this hotel.
