  Good place to visit if you are in Hangzhou,didn't get a chance to get Inside the building but the surrounding environment is just beautiful and the adjacent buildings are gigantic and amazing. The local people where also friendly. Public transport also readily available and affordable

  Hotel for luxury shopholic

  The review is based on 4 days stay. Location: The bus from Pudong Airport to Hangzhou stops about 10 mins away from the hotel. The hotel is located on the 7th floor of the Hangzhou Tower Shopping Mall Block A. There are a total of 4 blocks of shopping options available for luxury shoppers. Wulin Square is just across the road. A musical fountain show is available FOC on certain days of the week. For dinning, there are a variety of budget, mid-range and fine-dinning available near the hotel. The room: The room is spacious with 2 super single bed. The bathroom offers a separate bathtub and standing shower option. Free fruit is supposed to be given daily but i received fruits for only 2 days. Breakfast: I went to restaurant but did not take breakfast. Priced at RMB50 per person, the breakfast is inexpensive. There is a good selection but it is Chinese style, corn, carrot, water chestnut, etc. Staff: The staff are friendly. I did not interact with them much as i do not need to stop by the lobby area (7th floor) when i want leave or access my room. My dislike of the hotel would be lack of view from my room. On my check in day, i was shocked when the hotel staff informed me that my room was cancelled because i arrived at 8pm instead of my stated 4pm. The staff claimed to have given me a free upgrade as compensation though i do not see any different in room and as i have said my room view is the back alley.

  Comfortable stay, convenient to shopping and sight seeing

  I planned a four-day cycling trip around Hangzhou and brought my full-sized road bike (not one of those tiny folding bikes). I booked the hotel based on location and price not realizing that the hotel is in the middle of a high-end shopping mall with no dedicated underground parking. Staff was accommodating in allowing me to ride the elevators with my bicycle and to keep the bike in my room in the evenings. Comfortable bed, good sleep, not much noise 17 floors up and I frankly never saw or heard anyone on my floor apart from the cleaning staff. Room was stocked with the usual amenities, some of which were available only at additional charge (like imported bottled water and condoms). Cleanliness was good, linens were fresh, plenty of hot water. Convenient location for shopping -- you're in the middle of a mall, which also includes a basement supermarket, should you prefer to self-cater meals. Bicycle or taxi to the West Lake area in 5-10 minutes. Staff has difficulty communicating in English. Internet was slow. Lots of buffering when streaming video, for example. Television channels for non-Chinese speakers are less than a dozen. Room carpet appears a bit worn.

  Well located hotel in center of Hangzhou only it is a shame how its personnel makes a disaster of it

  Nice comfortable hotel connected to a huge shopping mall with all famous brands. Nice rooms with a huge bathroom. Regretfully personnel is not motivated. It started on arrival. Two boys waiting outside the hotel were not interested to help my wife with her suitcase although it was just 8 steps up but watching nice cars was much more important Checking in was fast. Reception area not very inviting to have a sit or drink. Worst experience was the dinner in the restaurant on the 27th floor. It was only 7 pm but from the 5 choices I made 4 were not available. Too much work or must order 1 day before?? As a hotel guest? Really? Even fried rice was a problem. After a huge discussion I finally got egg fried rice. My sweet and sour pork was forgotten! It is clear the chef is the boss and probably he had a bad day. It is pity. This hotel has a huge potential but in the end the personnel makes or break it and this case they bring down the hotel. Never seen so many unmotivated and uninterested people in 1 hotel.

  Well located hotel but not that good as if you would prefer to go to the Westlake or to be more in downtown I would suggest u to stay in the other area. But this hotel wasnt bad at all, the staff need to improve their English skills.
