  Quirky Motel Name

  Didn't see any hanging rocks ! A bit time warped, but boy was the queen bed comfortable !!! Air conditioning comfortable, hot water hot, kettle boiled so coffee enjoyed. No bikkies to go with the coffee, but what do you expect for $80 a night ! Yes, just $80 for the night and terrific value with the Catalina Hold Club just over the road for delicious dinner and cold beet. We would stay here again.

  Family Trip

  On our travels back from some family celebrations we decided to take time out in Batemans Bay - we picked this motel as it was over the road from the Golf Club - and it was only 80.00 for the night - motel is ageing however the room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was on a mainish road - the bed was soooo comfortable I slept like a baby all night. This motel is going onto our places to stay at list when we travel! Thank you.

  Clean with great staff

  Arrived a little before check in time. Was greeted by a lovely lady who was friendly and welcoming (also very patient with my 4 year old). The room was clean and spacious but very basic. Lets be honest though .... Im not here for the room. I just want a clean space to sleep. This definitely hit the mark. They offer a breakfast menu that is varied and reasonably priced. $2.50 for toast with spread or $9.00 for bacon and eggs. The only down side is the thin walls. I hope my neighbours like early morning wake ups! Lol

  Good option

  Great low cost option for anyone passing through as I was. Simple large hotel room with large bathroom. I was able to take a long walk in the morning (its flat everywhere here) and theyre good walking paths. If you had teenagers or kids there is a magnificent skateboard park within 150 m of this property. In the same area is a sports field should you just want to kick a ball. I had no issues having local takeaway food delivered to my room on one night and the other night I went across the road to the golf club, called Catalina Country Club. They have great live entertainment here and on Friday I watched a Rolling Stones tribute band which was free great. It is effectively a sports bar in one section with TAB multiple sports screens etc, then on the other side is lounge and restaurant bar and a big back deck. Lounge & food section looked kid friendly. Motel was in great spot to country club. Pay more for a view if you want to, but I was very happy with my choice.

  Clean and well located

  Basic facilities and pretty dated, but if you're just after somewhere to unwind at the end of the day and sleep (as we were) it's just what you need. The facilities are very clean and the property has everything you need for a night or two, either in the room or shared kitchen. Biggest downside is that there's no wifi, nor do they check/reply to their emails apparently so call if you want to book ahead. The rooms aren't overly spacious but I loved the large bathroom, which includes a bath in the 2 bedroom family units. The single bed I slept in was comfortable, but apparently there were some springs poking their way through in the queen bed in the first room. The owner, Robyn, was friendly and helpful. Just across the road from the Catalina Club and close to town (5 minute drive, 20 minute flat walk mostly along the waterfront) and the beach/sports grounds, TAFE and a popular fishing spot are all a 5 minute walk, if that.
