  Do not visit unless chinese

  I was expecting, of course, they do speak English, but I didn't. Hard to communicate. I made a reservation for two family room, and they give a family room and double room with extra bed. It wasn't the rooms I expected. :'( room was not too bad though it is located in the center of the city and this is the only thing I liked about this hotel

  We received a gift certificate here for an overnight R&R with couples massage stay. The massage was nothing extra ordinary. However, it was not relaxing at all because both ladies who did our massage talked incessantly. You can't close your eyes long enough without being questioned about your life by these two. The girls seem to be playing around than giving you a relaxing massage. They were just too giddy. No frills room. Bathroom is small, serve its purpose but could use a little update. There's dark stains on the grout that makes it look dirty. Doable. Aside from a slow customer service, my biggest issue here are the front desk staff and the owner. They are rude and unnecessarily loud. They shooed us away with their hand when we asked them something. And they talked to each other as if you don't exist. Maybe they didn't understand us. Maybe it's the language barrier but that's still not an acceptable excuse. I even told our two masseuse about our rude encounter with the front desk lady and the owner; they actually laughed, agreed and said "yea, they no good... I don't know... no good, yea?". It was our first time here and glad we didn't pay for it. After our initial encounter, I was already perturbed to begin with to enjoy the massage and our stay. Had it not been already paid for, we would have not stayed. I would have personally walked out. In short, I will never return here. Not even if it's free.

  Something New

  If you are looking for an experience in a hotel that is a bit different from the usual, this is the place. You can a proper massage, and not the improper kind either. They have great deals at restaurants just for staying there. The beds are not what us westerners are used to, they are the very traditional style on Japan. Meaning, very hard!!! I mean Hard. Please ask for a western style room or suffer.

  Very dirty and unsanitary

  Its not what you see in the advertisement. The room was really dirty and not cleaned at all. Urine stains on toilet, hair everywhere, it smells really bad and the sheets werent even changed. Grout and mold in shower. Just not clean at all so we got a refund and moved to another hotel.

  Dirty and old

  We stayed 1 night as we arrived very early in the morning and needed somewhere to sleep before our hotel opens for check-in. I was so happy we only stayed there those few hours. Can´ t imagine what we would do if we booked whole stay at Hanamitsu. 80 USD per night was quite cheap for Saipan but I have a strong feeling their primary business is massage and no investments are made in the hotel business. It´s not important what kind of amenities they do or do not have. The bathroom and everywhere inside it was so dirty and old we were trying to avoid even entering or touching anything there. Just avoid it. Period.
