  Great Hotel, No Problems, 2 Thumbs Up!!!

  **Quarantine Review** We stayed here for 3 nights while attending an event at the Quakercity race track. This Hampton was the exact opposite of the one we stayed in Clearfield PA. HP parking is right by the door. Check in was easy, but a bit slow due to "distancing". The staff was friendly. The room was clean with extra supplies because of the virus. The TV was HD and digital and 5 times bigger than the last Hampton we stayed at. The pool here has an HP lift you can use, but it's closed now. A bag type breakfast is available. The only thing I didn't care for here is the pillows. They are feather filled pillows, I had to go three rounds with my pillow every night before sleeping. Then the feathers punish you for hitting them, by poking you. Other than that, it's 2 thumbs up and recommended!!!

  Needs Some Improvement

  My husband and I stay at many Hamptons and this one did not impress us. The outside entrance needs some maintenance as well as the inside. There is that older hotel odor when you enter. It is an older location that could use some refurbishment, especially the carpeting. The lobby is very small, it has one tiny elevator. The pool was closed due to the virus and the breakfast offerings were virtually non existent. We stayed in a king size room with a sofa bed, it was clean and nicely furnished but the bedding was lumpy and uncomfortable, the bath tub needs replaced as does they bathroom mirror. The carpet was worn and dirty looking. When I expressed my concerns when I checked out I was offered excuses such as the budget, running out of things, etc. It was a disappointing stay.

  Great Stay. Recommended.

  This was our first time staying here and it's a very nice place. Definitely would recommend and return to. We are staying in the 2 queen bed suite. It's just easier letting each kid have a bed (one on a queen, the other in the pull out sofa). Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. No mold or aging look in the room. The beds we're comfy. I used my own pillow from home as I have a special one for my neck, but no one else seemed to mind them. Fridge was a decent size to store drinks and left overs in. Breakfast was great. Had cereals, pastries, smoothies, and microwavable hot sandwiches to choose from, which we're very good. Wife was able to use the gym, so all good there. They did have a pool, but no one thought to bring anything to swim in (November in OH), so can't comment on the pool. For those concerned, everyone we've seen has worn a mask, so no issues there. Front desk guy was friendly at check in and staff we've encountered have been friendly as well. If you're in this area and looking for a place to stay, I'd say give this place a try... And if you have kids, pay the fee bucks more for the suite.

  Had to cancel reservation. Never advised there was a time limit on canceling and that I would be charged. I

  Ive been impressed with quality and cleanliness of rooms. When driving from Massachusetts to Michigan, I realized I would not make it to the Poland Ohio Hampton Inn. I called at 6:30 pm to cancel my reservation; I booked a room at a Hampton Inn in Pennsylvania. When I made my reservation for the Poland Ohio Hampton Inn, I was never told there was a deadline for canceling. I was told they needed my credit card to hold the room; there would be no charges until after my stay. I was charged for the room I did not use. I will stay at Hampton Inns in the future, just not at the one in Poland Ohio. The manager there is a Scrooge!

  Enjoyed, clean room, nice staff. Missed the breakfast I was sleeping so hard. Its nice to get away. I had a peaceful night, quiet hallway only wish I didn't have to go down to the 1st floor for ice. Otherwise everything was great.
